Its' still 66, but the rain has moved away from my CWA and we're done for a week or more. A November-like pattern is setting in for the mean time with temps in the 50's and 60's with a little bit of a breeze.

66° Windy. TC Sandy has provided a cloudy and windy day. There is a very strong gradient of rain dividing the county. I am on the line between occasional showers and nothing at all.

Overall, the future of technology sales doesn't look that great. Technology has seemed to slow down in terms of major advancements. Computer's and computing devices aren't becoming obsolete so quickly anymore. Even Apple will see the impacts of this slow-down and the post-pc world.

I have also taken advantage of the 39.99 Windows 8 upgrade. The new OS is much improvement to Windows 7 once you learn how to use it. The apps in conjunction with the desktop makes it a multi-tasking powerhouse.

Fall is here.  :noexpression:
It really is! Yesterday really was the last day of Summer, here anyway.

75.8° w/Cloudy Skies.

Temps this week follow the low 80's and Sunny during the day and Clear nights with temps in the low 60's.

It was cold this morning for many locations. Image is from 7:30AM EDT.

One of them you see the moon.

What is this moon I keep hearing about? Is it a new celebrity?  Everyone talks about it at night. I don't get it.

I thought the opposite.  I was not highly impressed by their coverage.  There were parts I liked, other parts, not so much.  Some OCM's sounded like they had no idea what was going on.  One live shot I tuned in to, the meteorologist was talking about smelling bacon...okay, thanks for that.  As I've stated before, I am not a huge fan of Bryan Norcross, so when he was on it was hard to watch.

However, as I stated, there were some times during the day where they seemed to be on top of everything and knew what exactly was going on.

I saw that, (from my recordings when I came back home) that was during Jim and Al's live shot, but I can't remember which of the two brought it up right now. Honestly, that doesn't come off to me as a con of the coverage, they were just making an observation that in the midst of all the heavy winds/rains they were smelling that out of the blue.

I'm still baffled as to why they're studio remains lite red...I know they're talking about Isaac's aftermath, but that's not really a reason to remain in red mode, it feels like an overuse of something they didn't bother to do for 4 years.

EDIT: Regardless, I saw a promo yesterday that claims 58 million folks watched throughout the duration the coverage which made them #1 in the ratings, not that it's a surprise.
That was Jim who brought that up. I think he wanted to mention it, but they had to go to commercial right after he said it. Then again, maybe he was hungry or just so exhausted from being in the field all that time that he just said something completely off the wall. I thought it was funny, but not LOL funny.

Sorry for the double post.

73.3° w/Mostly Cloudy conditions.

Getting a break here this morning, I can drive to school without having to deal with the rain. Today the rain chances have been decreased from 70% to 60%, so less rain expected than in day's past. A break looks to come in late week with Mostly Sunny forecasted. Temps are in the 85 zone today and tomorrow, then we dry out for the early weekend and reach the low 90's (hopefully those will become 80's). Then a few shower chances through next week. Not bad.

78.1° w/Heavy Rain showers. Have been under flood advisories (warnings) until the past few minutes. The city of Charleston is flooding majorly in some areas this afternoon b/c the heavy rainfall that has fallen today. About 8" for the city, which is much more than it can handle.

Pictures from news media in the area of the flooding. http://www2.counton2.com/news/2012/aug/28/photos-you-2-viewers-capturing-lowcountry-flooding-ar-4430590/
