Hopefully the studio is still getting a good deal of use, maybe just not one that we can see on-air. Otherewise, TWC really did waste a lot of money. I don't understand why they're using "expert desk" in the old studio a lot now. They can't set the desk in as many different positions because of where they have the new green screen setup. The studio probably is in a mess because of having the new green screen by the wall with the 3 lcd's, so wideshots wouldn't look so good.
I will admit the green screen is crisper but still think the video wall should be used for some segments. And commenting on what Mike (here at the forums) said, I have also noticed and am upset about the continued lack of wide shots of the studio and the reduced number of desk positions. To be honest, that was one of my favorite things about the studio...to see what "position" the desk was going to be for a specific show.
Okay. The lower thirds said Day Planner also.So is PM Edition back now from 4-7, or are they just doing extended coverage today? (My tv Guide says its PM Edition)It's still Day Planner, apparently.
Very well done! What software do you use to make these images?Powerpoint 2010.
Thanks to Billy for posting and Zach for finding these! These seem to be the highest quality icons provided on the xoap.weather.com site. One shocking thing, however, is that the thunderstorm icon (with lightning AND rain) is missing. Normally that icon appears as numbers 1 -4.You mean the ones just with the cloud, raindrops, and lightning bolt? Why would they leave them out?
According to my guide, beginning next week, Storm Stories will be moved back to 2-4pm ET and PM Edition returns 4-7. No changes for weekend schedule through January 2.Good, I like it better this way.
