55 Degrees and Mostly Clear. Today was the beginning of a very nice stretch of weather for the week ahead. Highs will be in the mid 70's through late week with minimal chances of cloud cover or precipitation. After the horrible ice storm we went through just a few weeks ago and the week-long rain event we just had, I'd say it's well deserved!

Okay, okay. I change my mind. The new studio and graphics look great as the finished product. The new studio is fantastic.

After reading through posts and such, I seriously hope that for TWC's well being that this isn't the final product. That looks half- for a studio. The anchor desks look like they're made out of white cardboard that has been folded and cut to form a desk. The floor/stage area for that (the 'desk') just appears to be a large plastic box-like platform and the entire floor looks terrible where you can see the 'stage' ending. What in the world are they thinking? This is a studio? I sincerely hope they're also going to make more use of the space they have, but given that the weather producer desk is now out in the floor where the old desk w/ the four monitors were, I'm thinking that's unlikely. Goodness, TWC, what in the world have you done to your once beautiful studio.

Partly to Mostly Sunny w/ a temperature of 91°. After the month of July with numerous days of below average temperatures and being shrouded in cloud cover and rain, today's heat was certainly felt when I ventured outdoors this morning. Heat indices will reach in to the low-mid 100's this afternoon. The question is simply how soon will the rain and cooler temps return. At the moment it looks like it will not within the next seven days. Warm and toasty (in respect to July).

They replaced the green screen with a video screen wall.

They still have the green screen, maybe not in that position. I haven't been watching a lot until recently, it's the only show on TWC I care for any how.
