I get a 403 Forbidden Message when going to the Silverstar 8 Website.

Oh. Didn't know that

Oh and the Thunderbolt that is at the Temperance VFD was purchased in 1974 after the Super Tornado outbreak and is still used to this very day.

Monroe County used to have a vast number of Federal Signal 500A/AT Sirens throughout the County. Mostly in the country/rural areas.

There was also a lot of SD-10 and Federal Signal 7AT sirens in use a long time ago.

258
UPDATE

I just found out that the Federal Signal 500 At the near-by Lambertville VFD is a first generation Federal Signal 500A/AT from the 1950s.

It was originally painted red but is now painted yellow.

It STILL works great which amazes me at how long that its been in operation.

One thing that is annoying about the test is having to hear this 4 times on every loudspeaker/siren in the county when they test the sirens.

This is a test of the Monroe County Early Warning Siren System, This is only a test.

And then this 4 more times

This concludes this test of the Monroe County Early Warning Siren System, This was only a test.

The siren in use at the near-by Bedford District 2 FD in Lambertville, Michigan is a Weird one.

I think its a Federal Signals 500/Federal 500

262
Now that I remember

The fire station in Temperance Michigan (Bedford District 1 FD) that I've been by a few times has a Thunderbolt 1000/1000T or 1003 as its siren

Siren: Federal Signals 2T22/3T22
Do they (Toledo) still have those?

The one that I saw in the schoolyard across the street from Handels in Toledo, Ohio is still there to this very day and it definitely works.

I was at Handels ice cream in Toledo one time and the clouds were really looking ominious.

All of a sudden a siren in a schoolyard across the street went off. IT WAS REALLY LOUD!!!

At first most of the people there including me and my family thought is was a fire siren but then discovered that it was a tornado siren.   Everyone including my family and I were running towards our cars/vans/etc to get out of there.

Siren: Federal Signals 2T22/3T22   didn't know what exact model but I know it was one of those two models.

One of My friends lives in a house with a Federal Signals 2001 tornado siren literally on the other side of the street.

One way to possibly make your eardrums start ringing

What siren is closest to your location.

A WeatherSTAR 4000 Satellite TCF that I made in Openoffice
Enjoy

The music you hear is coming from my stereo (Stereo Speaker nearby)

NOTE: The clicking sounds at the end are me pushing the Start/Stop Button on my camcorder
It wouldn't stop when I pushed the button the first time.

NOTE: None of the data is in realtime

Go to the Tools menu, and click on Clear Private Data. Then clear everything out. This should fix the problem.

Appears to be working now.  Thanks.
