Very good job! Any way you could make this downloadable by any chance?

I'm considering it. However I'm still working on it and they're many bugs to still work out. Only very few icons are animated and still creating other forecast pages.

The project file uses the fonts Interstate Regular, Bold, Black Condensed and Bold Condensed. Good thing is that those fonts became free a few years ago! Plus the project is made in after effects
CC 2015.

WHAT!!?!?! That was abrupt and sudden! Well at least we got to see him on TWC once more. He will be greatly missed.  I was just watching his classic TWC videos just last night, and I'm still in shock just typing this. I still remember him watching him in the afternoon / early evening back in my elementary years. Best wishes to him and his family.

Here is what I've been working on lately. Since TWC decommissioned the Intellistar's, tons have popped up on ebay. Since I am considering buying one soon, I've made some graphics I would put on the unit. Unfortunately the hard drives are wiped out or missing, so I would have to write my own STAR program. However the unit would come with the necessary graphic cards and SDI video inputs and outputs so that's a positive!

It's awesome jazz has returned to the forecast. It was also nice hearing "Simple Pleasures" which I haven't heard since my 4th grade year! Hopefully they allow you to submit your new music.

Good thing Brian Picard is still there. So if they return the full playlist like years before, there's someone with that experience.

I've got nothing better to do with my time than to watch TWC at 2 am, I'll post if it's on. I've got a hunch it will play tomorrow, but my money isn't on it.

I'm not expecting Jazz to play this weekend because they don't usually change playlists on Saturday. If anything next Tuesday to Friday. But you never know, but I'm not counting on it.

If Dave Clark has doesn't want to pay someone to find music can't someone just volunteer to do the playlists? I'm sure @gt1racerlhdl and @localonthe8s would have a field day with that! Not sure he'll give in but you never know. Maybe someone shoot him an email, maybe he'll bite ......... or not? Just a thought I had.

What is the reason behind their love of the production music? Would it cost extra money to play anything else?

Likely, Over the past few years or so royalty fees for music have been on a major rise.
The radio station I intern for, has had to increase advertisng by a large amount, to pay for the royalty fees.
The fact that Dave is going out of his way to please us, makes me happy enough...
Do I wish it were on all the time? Yes!
However, I understand a business is a business, and anyway to cut cost is golden to them...

TWC played vocal music during Christmas time so if they really wanted to they can mix jazz up all they want because Jazz artists and vocal artists are covered under either BMI or ASCAP, even production music from libraries.
