I quickly glanced at TWC downstairs at :28 and heard another instrumental at :28 and something at 18 that sounded like 7and5. So far vocal free

I am pretty sure the name of this song on the list is "Outer Self" by Arwed Hauf

It appears Jeff is leaving TWC.
His facebook post "All good things must come to an end and so it is for my time at The Weather Channel. After 27 years of reporting the nation's weather, both in the studio and in the field, I'm moving on. It has truley been a privelage to bring potentially live saving information to viewers, particularly during severe weather situations. I thank you for watching all those years. Maybe you'll see me somewhere down the road!"

it's blank here in southern new england also.

The XL's text-based forecast is messed up too. It's just giving one-sentence per slide, which is just the forecast sky conditions, nothing else.

Are you guys referring the HD or SD channel local ID?
FiOS only has the IS installed for the SD channel.
I'm seeing no text on the ID screen on 24745 for XFINITY as well.The XL isn't showing the cable operator or STAR ID either

This is in fact Ryan Farish. It's his new song "Kaleidoscope" and it will be on his upcoming new album TBA soon.
He just messaged me with that info.
