I know it's way too early to call a landfall point, but I'm gonna estimate it to be somewhere between New Orleans and Houston..........

I got an idea from the boredom outlook.....

THIS HAZARDOUS BOREDOM OUTLOOK IS FOR ASHE COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA.....

DAY ONE...... TODAY AND TONIGHT....

BOREDOM WILL START OFF VERY ISOLATED IN NATURE IN THE MORNING...... WITH BOREDOM RAPIDLY INCREASING AND INTENSIFYING THROUGH THE DAY. ONE OR TWO BOUTS OF EXTREME BOREDOM IS POSSIBLE.

DAYS 2-7.... SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY LOOK LIKE ONLY SLIGHT CHANCES OF BOREDOM....... BUT THE SETUP IS LOOKING MORE AND MORE FAVORABLE FOR A WIDESPREAD AND LONG LIVED BOREDOM OUTBREAK STARTING ON MONDAY AND LASTING THROUGH A LARGE PART OF NEXT WEEK. MAJOR BOUTS OF BOREDOM IS INCREASINGLY LIKELY...... AND THE CHANCES OF EXTREME BOREDOM WILL LIKELY INCREASE AS WELL. THERE IS ALSO THE POTENTIAL FOR CRAZINESS...... AND THIS COULD BE MAJOR AS WELL. THINGS TO DO DURING THE DAY WILL NEED TO BE WATCHED CAREFULLY, AS THIS WILL DECIDE IF THE UPCOMING OUTBREAK WILL BE AS SEVERE. MODELS INDICATE THAT ALL THINGS WILL COME TOGETHER STARTING EARLY MONDAY MORNING........ AND WILL LAST ALL WEEK.

New Orleans/Baton Rouge in Slidell, LA.

The New Orleans and Baton Rouge offices were consolidated in the 90s (the New Orleans office used to be at New Orleans Int'l Airport and moved to Slidell in '79;  the Baton Rouge office was at Ryan Field).

At one point, the New Orleans office served Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

I think the NO office served all of thosenstates was back in the Weather Bureau days, which was pre-1970.

Current assessment of the situation puts in excess of 32 million people at risk of severe weather tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised to see up to a third of that witness a loss of power of 48 hours or longer.
I bet the SPC will pull the trigger and go high risk tomorrow.........

If they loose more and more viewers, its possable that some cable and satellite providers (except COMCA$T) would likely drop TWC for good and replace it with a rival weather station like WeatherNation or AccuWeather. Look what happened to G4 and DirecTV, its aready been a year and a half since when DirecTV droped G4 and it appears to be permanent. It looks like TWC is going down the G4 route.
That's why I say in about 5-10 years (probably sooner), Accuweather or WeatherNation will come along...... TWC is on it's way out.
