Do you have any dreams about weather?? If so, share them here. I have had several over the last few months. I once had a dream I was driving down I-77 to get to Charlotte, NC, and about halfway there, a tornado touched down next to me and- just as it touched down, the tornado split and the two vortices passed by either side of this house. Then the 2 vortices joined back together and lifted off the ground a few minutes after touching down.

I can see Don just barely getting to hurricane strength. I think Don's gonna do like Alex did last year- go just south of the Tex/Mex border, with Don becoming a tornado producer over S TX. Just my $0.02.

Since it's from 1993, my guess would be 57s and 74s.  I remember when the 88s were shown with great fanfare, highlighting the benefits of doppler radar, and so on, and, at first, 88 radars were shown in isolation, with reflections from just the one site.


But WBRC in Birmingham had it's own Doppler.... while the WSR-57@ Centreville was still in operations.
