General Discussion / Re: Rihanna's Concert In Dallas was on Fire! Literally!
« on: July 09, 2011, 06:46:14 PM »
It sure is. I would know because I saw one of the playoff games against the Lakers.
Texas--Dallas, in particular--has had some bad luck recently. There was the Rihanna fire and the fan who died at the Rangers game trying to catch a foul ball.

I'm really liking this playlist too. Still, I am eagerly awaiting the day when TWC will chose to play "Oasis" by Ryan Farish or "Above the Clouds" by Chris Geith. Those two are my most favorite songs since I started watching TWC actively again in 2008. Oh, and I can't forget "Unbitten" in the Beach Street Music Album. I wish that was used this time like last year. Love that song.
All in all, nice playlist.

General Discussion / Re: Casey Anthony trial and verdict
« on: July 07, 2011, 07:57:55 PM »
I just recently found out about it a few weeks ago. While I think she was guilty of the murder, I have to agree with the jury's verdict to not convict her without indisputable proof. I still don't know the whole story, and I don't think I ever will.

The Game Room / Re: Lie your Butt Off
« on: July 06, 2011, 08:10:58 PM »I am not in complete shock and disbelief that Casey Anthony was acquitted.
Don't talk about her like that! She is a beautiful woman. The bags under her eyes represent the tired youth.

I like that song from the January 2010 morning list. That was a good month for me, so that's why I like it. I also really like this list so far, too.

I actually like that song...just not so many times. I hope there's not a problem with the new playlist.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion

I sort of always liked the NBC logo. I was obsessed with it when I was little because of the pretty colors.
Anyway, that's business and promotion for NBC. If owned TWC, I would do the same thing.

Whew, finally. Now we can quit complaining about the old one, lol. I was ready for a new one, though. I just heard a song I liked at 4:28 my time.

Good luck, Ana! I'll be a little sad to say good-bye to a fellow amiga here, but I can't blame you for setting your priorities in the way that are most important to you. Good luck being a moderator!

Wow, I thought the current list was going to go all the way through July. No wonder I was especially tired of this one. In the scheme of things, though, it wasn't that bad a playlist at all.

Ha ha, you gotta love American Idol, right? It's kind of like how Oprah was more important than the Eastern Conference Finals in the NBA when she pushed the game back a day to do something in Chicago.
I think the ad looks really neat. It reminds me a lot of the first TWC Today in the new HD studio.

The HD studio already looks so good. I can't imagine what other ideas the have in store right now. By new graphics, I hope you mean for the IS. After four years, they could use some touching up. I'll be interested to see what happens.

General Discussion / Re: Fall TV Shows Officially Cancelled
« on: June 23, 2011, 04:06:47 PM »
Omg, where is Justin Bieber?!
I hardly ever watch shows on these networks anyway except for the ones texasstooge mentioned. If it means soap operas will be canceled, then I can deal with it.

Programming and Graphics / Re: Less Weather Coverage, Terrible Programming
« on: June 22, 2011, 05:17:01 PM »
While watching You Weather Today this morning, I thought to myself that I actually like some of the things they've done--like a short business segment, some news, and top weather stories like the fires in Arizona. Sure I do miss the old TWC some when it was just all about weather, but time goes on and things change. They need to keep up with the "hip" new technology and all that. Like Patrick said, it's just a fact of life now that NBC has different ideas of how to run the channel, but I'm still going to be open to their changes.
