I gave up on it. It means nothing to me if it's not permanent. They clearly don't want to spend the money.

They should play both the Jazz and production music. It's a very simple solution. This whole thing of switching to Jazz for a day honestly feels like a tease. I'm taking a break from twc until they make up their minds. Some may call it an overreaction but it's just growing old.

It will be. That's why I don't get excited about it. It's nice to hear it for a day, but it's not a change for the better if the jazz is played for one day, followed by production music for however long. Of course I love jazz, but I'm so tired of the production music that I would even take vocals back. I know music isn't a big deal, but when you have been watching the network as long as I have, the same song gets really old.

I don't even know anymore  Maybe all the tweets got to him. The production music was okay at first, but I never expected it to last 3 years.

Whatever Jazz you heard appears to be gone again

What is the reason behind their love of the production music? Would it cost extra money to play anything else?

I can officially confirm the Jazz is once again temporary for today. It will be back to production music soon. Edit- this is not an April Fool's joke.

He got enough positive feedback about the Jazz the day he played it. I think any additional tweeting would be excessive and likely irritate him.

I'm not hopeful they're bringing jazz back. Dave apparently only played it for one of his buddies to notice. It doesn't seem hard to incorporate, but as you can still see, they're quite content with the same production music. In other words, I am not expecting jazz to return in the near future.

Since the vast majority probably doesn't care, they shouldn't be needing to "test" the jazz for feedback. It should be changed, however, because the production songs have been playing for years, and it would be a small step back to classic TWC. A few people I have talked to have personally told me the vocals did not mix well with the intellisar narration due to contrasting voices. Moreover, I find it laughable TWC felt the need to test something like jazz, then take it off as if they were cautious over something that most don't care about. They most obviously do.

Who runs the music there? Why take it off after one day? That makes me even more upset; they're toying with us.

Jazz has been taken off and put back to the production music. It must've been a short experiment

No way! It sounds like jazz! That would be a step back in the right direction

TWC Today News / Re: Martin's passing and the future of TWC Today

I've been out of the loop for quite some time myself, but I'm absolutely shocked and saddened by this news. He was a great guy, and I only have had positive interactions with him. Both a true weather fan and a smart man. If the time is ever appropriate, I would like to know what happened so I can help raise awareness and better understand the illness.
