Only 11 hours? That's a nice schedule! The least I had was 13 and I found that challenging. 

I'm taking 17 this semester. I always get overwhelmed by the numbers, but I have one friend taking 19. She crazy.

My first thought was maybe TWC will bring that LDL back for the Local on the 8's for shows that only the LDL is used. Like Lightning said, maybe they realize a radar is important for a local forecast. Interesting to see. Thanks!

I don't even think a new playlist has begun. All I've noticed is the songs without vocals--from Ben Kopec, John Williams, Mouth of Wilson, etc.--have been replaced with vocal music.

Hmm... I thought I heard a few new songs too. It's hard to tell lately whether or not the playlists are blended or if they're just adding in new songs. I didn't expect a new playlist for a couple more days to a week.

I'll admit that I'm surprised "Olympic Spirit" isn't playing. It seems to fit with TWC's new taste in genre, and the Olympics are here, after all!

I heard a song on primetime that sounds similar to David Keen's "Sierra." I like both songs.

The holidays are indeed very far, but they I expect vocal holiday music with maybe a few traditional annual songs thrown in the mix.

I'm a fan of the "Sunshine" by Timbuk-3! Nice choice.

I noticed it too. The two new songs I heard were both vocal but maybe primetime will have some instrumentals like June. I was impressed with the overnight last month

Also I expect to hear John Williams's "Olympic Spirit."

I'm hoping Debby heads my direction because I don't see it as a storm that will cause much damage but can bring some good soaking rain to the area. I still see trees wilted from the heat of last summer and the drought that affected Texas that also affected Baton Rouge. I hope to see it come my way as a tropical storm.

I prefer keeping Mike in Atlanta for some reason. Now I feel that Stephanie and Al should do their show together but Mike in NYC just seems weird.

Also, does Jen Carfagno ever get a break? I wasn't watching this morning, but I see her on most weekdays and on Weekend View.
