TWC Classics News / Re: Trimming down content
« on: October 01, 2010, 04:01:03 PM »
This has been completed. (FINALLY!) As with any major update to my site, please let me know if you encounter any problems. Old urls (from the last major update) should redirect to the new ones (assuming the page still exists).

Ah ok I didnt read correctly. Well actually i guess its more of a manual backup with a site downloader application.
Yah, I don't have a problem with that (as long as it's for your own personal use). BTW, that must've taken days to do!

Although I had no problems logging in today, it isn't remembering me after I leave (normally it does).
This has been a problem with me for months, and yes I did try clearing my cache/cookies.
The problem seems to have gone away for me.

Is there a way you could send me a backup (attachments excluded) of the forum? If you didnt mind i couls try to host a beat down archive of it on my webspace in case any info is needed such as OCM info that might come to mind later (yes im crazy  :fear:)
I can, but I won't. The backup includes private information that I doubt former members would like me to share.

On Monday, October 4th, my 2003 and 2005 forums will be deleted from the server. After that, you will not be able to access them and I will NOT re-post them. So if you have anything you need from them, please do it this weekend!

Edit: These have been removed to save space.

I believe it's because we're using the www prefix now, and the forums want to make sure you have it there, in the event that you didn't before.
Doesn't seem to be an issue now.

Hmm I still have topics populated there. Let me look into that!!
Seems to be working now. Thanks. :)

Edit: Something new I've noticed. There's something being added to certain URLs. It doesn't seem to cause any problems, but it defintely wasn't there before. For example, when you view new posts, it adds "wwwRedirect;" to the url. Any idea why?

Although I had no problems logging in today, it isn't remembering me after I leave (normally it does). Also, the unread topics feature (at the top) isn't working. It says all topics have been read, even though they haven't.

Since it's the full song, why don't you just extract the audio from it?

Hurricane Central / Re: Tropical Storm Matthew
« on: September 27, 2010, 10:24:21 AM »
Matthew has now become a remnant low and will no longer be officially recognized by the National Weather Service, but it will still be monitered for the very small potential of redevelopment. There IS, however, a disturbance directly behind Matthew that has been given a 10% chance of development.
Booo!!!! :club: :censored: :P

In the classic years OCMs didn't make casual references to "gutter" humor or sexual orientation.
Agreed. TWC has always had a sense of humor, which I appreciate. But I don't care for the cheap "gutter" jokes. It's unprofessional and (IMO) shows a lack of imagination.

"The specified problem might be due to the lack of memory for the mysql query operations. I have increased the mysql query cash memory. This might have solved your issue. Please verify it from your end."
Oh. They increased memory for me too. It didn't help. :)

If you really want to read how low and absolutely r*t*rd*d people are, read this page about "1,000,000 people who hate the Pittsburgh Steelers."
All "hate" groups on FB have gotta go. :club:
