On the bright side, we won't be seeing those stupid T-Mobile commercials that rip off those stupid Mac commercials anymore. :P

I Checked. The first is a I, the second is a II. But can't you make a WxSTAR I & II page on the local forecast page on TWC Classics???   :hmm:
I won't make a separate page for a single video, but I will make it clear that they are I and II videos.

Fox News = B.S. in pretty much every situation imaginable!
When I saw a clip at the top of the page from Fox News, I thought to myself "I bet someone says it can't be true b/c it came from Fox." Glad I wasn't disappointed.

Well, is there a tripod for a Flip Video Camera???
Found one on the Flip Camera's website.... YAY! IT'S CHEAP!
You gotta be kidding me. You wasted an entire thread, three months of time, and you didn't even check the manufacturer's website until now!?

What the hell are you talking about?
Yikes.

Yes, Limewire is no more. AFAIK, all that's left is YouTube. :)

I've never heard of a I or II being put on TWC Classics or just being plain recorded. Is there anyone in the world who has?

Actually, I do.

The first video is from the I and the second is from the II.

I'm sure there is. Tripods are a pretty standard accessory for cameras.

Great site job, Matt! it was at this date 8 years, on the evening of March 10, 2003 while doing a search for Bobby Love's Channel Weather CD I stumbled into the site then known as "Matt's Guide to the Weather Channel". which allowed me to finally know all that TWC music ive grown to love over the years.... and the rest, as is said, is history........
Thanks Chuck!

TWC Classics News / Re: New site design
« on: March 09, 2011, 08:27:34 PM »
When I launched the new design, I added code that would track all the site's "file not found" errors. Looking at the results today, I was rather surprised to discover that a lot of people are still looking for the forum. So I thought about re-posting the forum (in read only format, of course), but in attempting that I discovered that the database dump I have is incomplete. It's missing a lot of posts (and possibly other things). Not sure how this happened, but it did. So I'm wondering if anyone saved the forum. At the very least, what I'd like to do is add back relevant posts.

General Discussion / The ideal weather website
« on: March 08, 2011, 10:50:27 PM »
I was listening to an interview with John Coleman (the founder of TWC, for those who don't know) today and he commented that most weather websites today suck. Unfortunately, the host didn't ask him to explain why he thought that, but that got me thinking. If you could create the ultimate weather website, what would it have on it? What would set it apart from other weather websites? Do you agree with his statement? If so, why?

General Discussion / Re: Google and YouTube

I was pretty ticked off too. For a few months, they let you decide what you wanted to do. Of course, I said no each time. Then they didn't give me a choice. As far as I can tell, there's no value to the user in doing this. This is just a way for Google to get your information. Sure, Facebook has privacy issues, but at least they're not involved with the government like Google. :censored:

A crossheir is a centralized area of interest...

Anyway, topic closed per plane's request.

That's something I've often wondered myself. I assume it's based on a combination of population and climate.
