Did that contributor just live there at the time, or does he still live there?
He still does.

Has any progress been made on this? Also, I can't remember if I asked, but a search feature would also be nice (for the main site). Thanks! :D

Everything Else Classic TWC / Re: 1996 Relaunch of TWC?
« on: May 12, 2011, 07:25:42 PM »
Wow. Talk about revising an old topic! I cover the years and post the content I do b/c it's my site and I can do whatever the hell I want with it. I call it "classic" because it's classic to me and other "old timers." If other people have a different idea of what "classic" is, that's fine. However, it has no bearing on what content I can or can not post. :)

General Discussion / Re: Fall TV Shows Officially Cancelled

Glee is the best Fox show ever.
I really don't get the appeal of that show. Guess you have to be gay or a woman. :dunno:

Works fine for me too. Your IP address might be blocked. I know Bill had to implement some strict rules to keep some loser out b/c he was posting videos of the beta release on YouTube. From what I hear, this has resulted in a few innocent people being blocked.

Neither friend recalled "Out of Harm's Way." I get the feeling that this was a video TWC produced, but never aired.

That sounds interesting. Might be worth posting some things if I can get it. I'll ask a few people.

Congrats Carl!

That guy is full of it and trying to intimidate you. He is not going to contact the "authorities." If Wikipedia can use NOAA/NWS images without participating in copyright infringement, so can you.

I'm pretty sure they're gonna party big time, probably bigger than what they did when they celebrated their 25 years.
I hope so. They didn't do much on the 25th. I really liked the 20th special. I hope they do something similar for the 30th.

"Most people who check on weather are really doing it to support their lifestyle, so I think we have a big opportunity to move more toward lifestyle programming."
Another executive that doesn't get it. Most people tune in for the WEATHER. So the solution is to put more WEATHER programming on. Get it? :club: :P
