In all of the examples I gave, I was talking about either the Boston or Willow Grove Stars, not about Stars in general or about every Star in the country.  I didn't prefix every mention of a Star with the city name because I thought it was unnecessary and understood in context.

Interesting. I wonder why your cable company decided not to show the outlook. Guess I'll have to through my Willow Grove footage and find out!

The 4000 never showed the Outlook, either.

Sure it did. It was part of the original J flavor, then moved to the M in fall 1992. I remember seeing it lots of times.

I can't remember offhand seeing both the Almanac and the Outlook together on the same local forecast.

Lots of examples of this on my site. J and later the M flavor had both.

This area upgraded to the 4000 in 1991, and that showed the Outlook only at the very beginning.  It very quickly disappeared from the rotation.

That's weird. Seems like your 4000 differed from the rest of the country.

Since there are several loyal TWCC visitors here, I thought I'd post this and get your thoughts. I am proposing a new structure/navigation to the site, which is listed below. The reason being that TWCC has, for the most part, always been a "nostalgia" site. The current navigation doesn't serve that purpose very well. For example, if you wanted to take a look back at 1995, you could end up visiting 10-20 pages! I was thinking that it would be nice if it was all in one place. So here's what I'm proposing. I've only included the main categories. Let me know what you think.

local forecast
-----videos
-----playlists
-----flavors

timeline (will include title cards, bumpers, intros, promos, etc)
-----1986-1991 (For Everything You Do)
-----1991-1996 (Weather You Can Always Turn To)
-----1996-1998 (No Place on Earth Has Better Weather)

business-travel-forecast
-----videos
-----images
-----playlists

weather
-----stats
-----storms
-----classroom

misc
-----downloads (avatars, icons, fonts)
-----former-ocms
-----segments-and-filler

The "weather" section will likely be a later project, since I don't have much content for it for now.

Call me crazy, but maybe this caching issue should be looked into. I still see the Irene banner on multiple computers. I've never been to a website (that I know of) where old graphics are cached for days after being replaced.

During the entire 2-day trip from Massachusetts to Florida I had to listen to my father's collection of the Beatles.  I truly went out of my mind. 

I can't even imagine. The Beatles (IMO) are one of the most over-rated bands of all time.
