General Discussion / Re: CNN not doing so well

I feel like I'm turning to Colbert and Stewart a lot for at least the big stories. Granted, they are usually biased to one side and the story gets fogged up in their jokes, but still.
I used to do that. Now it's more balanced. Or at the very least, I'm using more sources. Wow, what a difference that made! You miss out on so much if that's all you watch (TDS and Colbert).

I really like Kaleidoscope. It reminds me a lot of Ryan's older, piano-dominant songs (as this song sounds like) rather than the junk techno crap he's put out lately.

Totally agree! For the first few albums, I always really liked at least one song. And with each album, I loved whatever song it was even more, with "Clouds of Heaven" being my all-time favorite song by him (although I hate the screeching sound effects in it). Then he got all techno and barf!

This one is my favorite this month. Actually it's the only song I like.

I never thought I'd say this, but you know your network isn't doing well when your ratings are worse than Oprah. Not exactly surprising considering how silly some of their programming is these days (which Jon Stewart occasionally pokes fun at). Like TWC, they seem rather desperate to attract younger viewers.

No wonder gas prices are falling.
Not where I live! Went up 20 cents yesterday.

I could have sworn I heard this around 02 or 03.
I don't think so (it's not on any playlist).

Everything Else TWC / Re: Nicole Mitchell sues The Weather Channel

So now the truth comes out on Nicole's demotion at TWC & departure what arrogance by Comcast Bain Capital & Blackstone disgraceful on how they treated her i am worried about this arbitration issue against Nicole which might go against her i hope i'm wrong & she wins this case.
Don't you mean NBC? I highly doubt their investors have anything to do with day-to-day firings.

Not exactly surprising TWC treated her like crap. Glad she's suing. I really hope she wins. :hammer:

Did "Nepalese Tango" air from Eldorado?  If so what others?

Yep - http://www.twcclassics.com/watch/1029-29/nepalse%20tango. If you're asking if they used other songs on that album, yes. They used "Amazon Waltz" and "Chattahoochee Field Day."

Wow, sorry I asked. :o Didn't realize it was such a sensitive topic. As an admin, I get emails on reported posts too (a few times a week at most). So you must do A LOT beyond that. In which case,.

I was actually undertaking a ton of workload here for the past few months and needed some help.
Wow, that's really surprising. I would think that with a small amount of posts and minimal issues, running this forum would be pretty easy.

Any video that has been linked to or embedded on the forums is posted there. The text under the videos is what was posted along with the video here on the forums.
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

I came across this today. Any idea what it is or why it was created. It says auto-generated, so I assume it wasn't started by Martin.
