Are you asking me a question or just looking for sympathy from others here? :dunno:

Matt, did you take down your classic TWC classics archive? When I go to classic.twcclassics.com, the URL remains the same but I get the main website instead of the classic TWC Classics archive..

Yes I did. I mentioned that in a blog post a few weeks ago.

If my memory serves me right, weren't there mp3s available for purchase on her site?
Not that I'm aware of, but this is great news!

Shoot, that's the second time I've done that! Well, then I'm going live with the new layout. Thanks for letting me know!

Yes. I'm sure there are others, but the first one that came to mind for me was Bret in 1993.

General Weather Chat / Re: AccuWeather not so accu

I would really recommend Wunderground but idk if they have a Firefox extension, however if it were me, I would really rely on your NWS forecast.
I always look at other sources. It's just nice having the forecast and conditions right there as I'm browsing.

General Weather Chat / AccuWeather not so accu
« on: August 06, 2012, 11:25:29 PM »
A month or so ago, I upgraded Firefox. In the process, it disabled the weather.com extension because it was incompatible. So I replaced it with AccuWeather's extension. Maybe it's just my area, but their forecasting is awful! They regularly forecast thunderstorms every few days. Many with high probabilities. Their accuracy so far is about 0 in 50. :noexpression:

Anyone else use this? Is there a better one?

General Discussion / Re: What radio stations do you listen to and why?
« on: August 04, 2012, 06:12:01 PM »
All stations here suck, but thankfully I have XM in my car. Some of the stations I listen to are...

50s on 5, 60s on 6 - I love Rock 'n Roll. Not the kind Joan Jett talks about, but real Rock 'n Roll. Rock before it was ruined by British artists like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

80s on 8, 90s on 9, Prime Country - This is the music I grew up on (and therefore love as well). 80s on 8 plays a little too much New Wave (which I loath), so I don't listen as much.

The Message - As a Christian, I suppose it's no surprise that I like to listen to Christian music.

Heart & Soul, The Groove - Out of all the genres I listen to frequently, R&B and Soul are my favorites.

Watercolors - No explanation necessary.

Spa - I'm also a big fan of ambient music. They also occasionally play new age songs used on TWC. It's weird hearing "Three Candles" by Schonhertz and Scott outside of Christmas.

We used to have a pretty decent station here called KGOR, but a few years ago they went from 50s-70s music to 70s and 80s. Boring!

I also occasionally listen to internet radio. Mainly Pandora and 181fm.

I wonder if they ever turn down any ideas.
