Victory! Gary, the artist is Paul Hardcastle and the song is called "Lazy Days." I KNEW it sounded familiar! :twothumbs:

I was going to say this yesterday, but it almost sounds like it could be 3rd Force...
I agree w/Gary. Doesn't sound like them either.

If that's Ryan Farish, then he did a 180 with his style from the earlier days. I'm not familiar with all of his songs, but I was around during his mp3.com days and don't recall him having anything other than that ethereal/cool newage sound. I mean the style of the song you posted is completely different, IMO. Different instruments, different sounds. Matter of fact, it sounds more like a smooth jazz song. If it is him, though, it certainly wouldn't be the first time an artist has surprised me in that way.

The only time i like Heidi is when i'm thinking about the perverted things i'd love to do to her in and out of her tight fitting jeans. She might not be tolerable to some of you guys. But her body could light up fireworks. :sunglasses:
And that was from the too much information desk. <_<

General Discussion / Re: VCRs?
« on: June 25, 2008, 10:27:24 AM »
I still use a VCR and until technology gets better, I will continue to use one. I've never understood the appeal of DVRs. So it's like a VCR, but more expensive, can only be leased from your cable or satellite provider, and you can only save so much video? Um, yah, sign me up! DVD recorders I like, except that if you mess up a recording, you have to start with a new disc.

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but Ms Ricks, is (or will) there a way to purchase the original version of "Simple Pleasure?" I like that version much better than the TWC CD version. Thanks and welcome! :shades:

Here's everything thats wrong with Dr. Cullen:

1) She's a COMMUNIST! (Think about it!)

2) She doesn't know what the !@#$ she's talking about half the time, IMO. I don't believe in Global Warming, so you might disagree with this statement.

3) She's so fake! Just look at her, she looks like a mannequin!

4) She needs to think before she opens her fascist mouth, esp. when it has to do with other meteorologists and their certifications (the same statement that got her demoted as Forecast Earth head host, AFAIK).
I agree 100% (minus #1).

The website is now running, but i'm not sure where to purchase the tunes.

I was about to ask the same thing. No clips either. A rather confusing website, if I may say so.

Well, if that's the attitude you all want to have, then blow me.
Wow. I've had updates where no one seemed to care, but I've never felt like saying that.

General Discussion / Re: George Carlin (1937-2008)

Damn, he was one of my favorite comedians. I've seen him on TV many times, and read both his books. What a shame.  :(
Same here. He kind of stopped being one of my favorites after his last few specials (way too negative/mean). But I've always had a lot of respect for him. That's too bad. :(

Is it necessary to voice disagreement over an answer to a puzzle? After all, as you so aptly put it, its only a game.  ;)
That's true. Voicing your disagreement is pretty pointless.

Did you see Kyle's response? That's the one that got me miffed. Give your answer. Don't critique someone else's.
He was replying to Victor's answer. Even if someone disagrees with you, so what?

If you guys would've let me post my answer in peace I wouldn't have said a word. But since you all thought you knew more than me, I get a turn too.
Who said that? Just because our answer is different than yours, doesn't mean we think we know more than you. :hmm:
