I will have to cast my vote as to no. I have several points as to why.

• Some people do not want to be engaged with conversation of current twc or older twc
• What will the solution be for administration? Will we have more admins that we would need?
• How would the database be migrated / merged?
• Truly, TWCT and TWCC have 2 different community types (besides the fact that one is today and one is classic)
• There can't be a specific domain name like twctodayforums.com or twcclassics.com. This means additional costs.
• Additional hosting costs
• Only one forum software type can be chosen.
• What would happen to the people that are banned at TWCC and not TWCT, or vice versa?
• In my opinion, TWCC and TWCT are two different communities, and should remain as such.

Even though Martin has already answered your questions, I'd like to make a few points.

1 - I wasn't aware that people were required to participate in certain discussions here. Usually, when I see a topic that doesn't interest me, I don't read it. 

4 - We brought back subforums for "current" Weather Channel discussions over a year ago. Current TWC content was also re-introduced to the site some time ago.

8 - They would still be banned.

When they play good music, no I do not. The only time I got tired of a playlist was when it seemed like the April 1993 playlist would never end.

Nick At Nite's current lineup is terrible IMO. There's not a single show that's even worth watching when nothing else is on, let alone every night.

Honestly, is a 4 hour marathon of Roseanne from 2 to 6 in the mornings really necessary? No one even likes that show!

Wow, that's pretty stupid. Of course they need to explain what they mean by place. I can't think of any other weather website where you can enter a place to get its forecast. And yes, if you don't give an example, someone might expect to get a forecast by entering "my friend's house."
