At least Top 10 has something to do with weather.

I thought TWC discontinued Weatherscan?

What's the name of this song? https://youtu.be/_Ciqj64JFnY

I believe that's "Bite Back" by Gooding.

That's weird. I can access it fine. Try another computer. I can't imagine you'd be blocked (unless by accident).

Hmm...that's odd. I didn't have any problems accessing it on Friday. Are you getting an error?

Your Local Weather / Major hailstorm in eastern Nebraska
« on: May 12, 2016, 01:16:42 AM »
Originally posted in the TWCC Facebook group:

Last night, around 3am, I experienced what was probably the most intense hail storm of my life! Hail is somewhat common in Nebraska during spring and summer, but storms that nearly/completely cover the ground are virtually unheard of.

I would have taken pictures/video myself, but because we were also experiencing heavy rain, I thought the heavy downpour sound I was hearing was rain and some hail. I had no idea the downpour was the hail! So these pictures come from our local NBC affiliate on Twitter.

An interesting fact about this storm was that the hail core collapsed shortly before reaching Omaha (where I live). So we were set to get a general thunderstorm when it got here. However, the storm intensified and redeveloped its hail core. Reports before the collapse were golf ball sized hail. I guess because the storm weakened, then intensified, the hail didn't have time to get too big (all reports I've seen here were dime sized).

"I sincerely apologize for my dishonesty, but I would like to move forward as myself."

No problem, but if you want to be honest moving forward, why does your profile still say you're a woman?

The file (in it's original .webm format) is uploading right now at an normal speed , so the conversion definitely caused the problem!

Weird. I've uploaded many mp4s in the past without any trouble.

Wow! How big is the file? What format? Is your connection or computer also really slow?

Local Forecast / Re: Smooth Jazz Return!

A little bird told me that the guy doing the programming (which I assume means or includes selecting music) these days is Jeremy Jones. So if you want smooth jazz back full time, you might try emailing him:

Jeremy.Jones@weathergroup.com

Sad to hear. I had a lot of respect for him, and always looked forward to his hurricane season forecasts.

I actually liked it when the NWS had their forecasts in all caps. It was easier to read and more attention grabbing, IMO.
I feel the same way, which is why I'm not crazy about the change.

Was this really a problem for people? I mean, the average person doesn't get their weather forecast from the NWS. And I doubt anyone that does was offended by the uppercase text.
