John Doyle, Marny Stanier, and Mark Mancuso - that was how I remember TWC when I first got cable. :)

OCMs & Personalities / Re: New OCM- Bryan Norcross

Is this the same Bryan Norcross who did nonstop hurricane weather coverage of Hurricane Andrew from his station's studio basement? If so I think he would make a great addition to TWC as a hurricane specialist.
I remember he would be featured quite often when hurricanes approached Miami.  I always thought he was cool.  It'll be nice to see him on TWC.

Is Bill Keneely still on?  I didn't see him on that list.

Update five minutes later, I can't believe he's gone, too. :(
I have a VCR tape way back from 1989 that I did for junior high home economics class that had him giving a forecast - that was when I really wanted to become a meterologist.

I ended up in computer science, but the Local Forecast was a launch for that :).

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Betty Davis - Departure
« on: August 29, 2010, 07:33:29 PM »
This is the first I have heard of it.  I thought Betty was okay.  She wasn't that bad.

The only thing I have noticed is that every time I turn on TWC, it's always a documentary.  I can't stand not being able to see somebody on the screen.  I have completely mixed up the schedules and only know when Alexandra Steele, Paul Goodloe, Kim Cunningham (She's from Cincy! :) ), and Adam Berg are on.

It's sad to see that a lot of the meterologists don't get proper times these days.
I don't want to see an episode of Full Force Stories!

For me, it's 1993 with 1992 in close second.
I would agree with this, and include 1990-1992 as well
