Sorry for bumping this, but I'm getting the same problem now.

I'm trying to set up the configuration for Jackson, MS and no cities are showing up after I selected Hinds County (zone 048) so I can select a Current Conditions city.

Edit: There's no cities showing up for Rankin County (zone 049) also. That county is across the river from Jackson and houses Jackson's official observation site (JAN - Jackson Airport).

That dry air is something else, isn't it? The pressure has been falling for much of the day, but the winds have yet to catch up thanks to that dry air. I think we'll have a 75-85 mph hurricane tomorrow.

Some people evacuated from across the region, but most have been raiding the stores and are staying put.

Oh, and most of the New Orleans TV stations have gone to around-the-clock coverage.

New Orleans/Baton Rouge in Slidell, LA.

The New Orleans and Baton Rouge offices were consolidated in the 90s (the New Orleans office used to be at New Orleans Int'l Airport and moved to Slidell in '79;  the Baton Rouge office was at Ryan Field).

At one point, the New Orleans office served Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

Bug Reports / Re: What Heat Advisory? Fall Foliage in Spring?
« on: June 02, 2012, 10:38:05 AM »
I think I know what's causing the heat advisory to show up:

Whenever I have Hammond, LA as the Current Conditions city, the head advisory shows up. I took a closer look at Hammond's observation and compared with the city's observation (KHDC) on the New Orleans NWS site. After comparing the two a few more times, I discovered that the observation for Hammond on the emulator is stuck on 91 degrees and partly cloudy 24/7. I believe that's why the heat advisory is always showing. You may want to check the emulator to see KHDC is used for Hammond.

Bug Reports / What Heat Advisory? Fall Foliage in Spring?
« on: May 24, 2012, 03:16:24 PM »
Ever since I've been running the emulator, a Heat Advisory graphic keeps popping up at the beginning. The problem is, my area hasn't been under a heat advisory all spring.

Plus, why is the Fall Foliage map showing up in the springtime?

Lastly, the 36 hour forecast is not updating. It keeps reading Today, Tonight and Saturday.

Okay, I am ready to install the emulator on my Vista desktop; and it's gonna be the one running the emulator from here on out since my lady took the laptop back and will likely delete it once she notices it.

How do I go about getting another key for the Vista?

I take that back. It's working fine.

Hopefully, I can get my wireless adaptor for my desktop next week and install this there. It's a Vista machine, so I have to really pay attention to directions.
