The Network Series of music is available on iTunes for download. search "network music ensemble" I think the whole "Network" Catalog is available as 298 album listings show up when I did the search. Figured I'd run this by some of you who have been looking for NM for the longest timeDo you search under iTunes store?
I have heard of him. How do you know him?
It's gonna be with Brett Adair, if you're familiar with him.
The thing is, do not look at the center of the cone. Look at the entire cone. Anyone in the cone should pay attention. Not just the people in the center.Excuse me for looking at the NHC forecast and finding out the city in the middle of the cone...at this time, that looks like the most reasonable location, and people need as much notice as possible. I'm pretty sure that local Miami meteorologists aren't brushing this off...
That is exactly what you shouldn't do this far out. Everyone along the Gulf and East Coast should always be prepared for that big hit. At this point this far out the best you can do is monitor the situation. By making landfall predictions this far out you only scare people or throw people off on what to believe. I spoke with the NHC director recently and he talked about how when people look at the 5 day cone they A. Don't think it will hit , B. Think it will weaken, C. Think it will hit in the center of the cone and nobody else.
Take a look at this chart and look at forecast accuracy.
Perhaps when making predictions you should back them up with facts and reasoning (besides saying its in the center of the cone). Start looking at model and satellite data.
looking at the drought monitor GA/FL will get rain they desperately needThe drought has gotten better, though, in Georgia and Florida. No D4 areas (exceptional) in Florida, like there had been and much less areas of exceptional drought in Georgia. Still, they do need more rain to help out more and hopefully they'll get it.
Hopefully this thing makes landfall on Texas, they desperately need some rain after the drought. You mean they desperately need rain since they are in such a bad drought. "After" would mean that the drought there is over and it's nowhere near over. I hope they get much-needed rain, too.
As I said before, I don't think losing the 8-city observations screen is any big loss. The regional and metro maps look so much better, but the 8-city list is simply left over from the days of the original text-only Stars. If memory serves, I think the "Latest Observations" screen was even used on the WeatherStar I!No big loss?! It's a huge loss! It's the worst thing they could have done. That was my very favorite thing about the IntelliStar! I strongly disagree. There's an old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it."
How do you know about the old Centerville radar?
But WBRC in Birmingham had it's own Doppler.... while the WSR-57@ Centreville was still in operations.
