A few of these songs... aren't very good.   :rofl2:

I wish they'd play the Vince Guaraldi Peanuts songs.

Ever since the most recent oil bubble burst, gas prices have been tumbling.

Just over $2.00 here.

I'm not 100% sure what to make of this video.  This isn't necessarily a shot at TWC per se, because EVERY media outlet is guilty of this (some more than others).

There is a LOT of wisdom in what Mike Rowe says here.  Don't automatically believe ANYTHING you hear or read.  If somebody isn't embellishing a situation for ratings, they may be trying to propagandize an unsuspecting public.

hmm it appears they still have a local on the 8 segement, but only  at the 18's and 48's.. with the live feed version on the other 8's..

Really not a fan of this move, but I'm used to it now so I'm cool with it.

I love that they extended Weekend Recharge by an hour.

Spring, WHERE ARE YOU?

Longform does not necessarily need to go away completely.

From 2-5 AM, a taped loop of the prior hour would air.

I wouldn't mind longform if there was a LOT8s (with current radar) every 10 minutes.  Why is there an L-Bar (or reverse L-Bar) during live coverage but not during longform?  That's infuriating... a complete slap in the face.

Are there really enough viewers in the middle of the night to justify paying OCMs and an entire crew?  Let the interns run the show from 2-5.

At least the channel itself will soon be off the hands of the NBCUniversal/Blackstone/Bain consortium. Will we see some improvements like the return of live 24/7 weather?

I wonder how this will affect the coverage of global warming?  When it was NBC alone, they were really in-your-face about it.  After all, General Electric (parent company of NBC) is HEAVILY invested in so-called "green" energy, so it only makes sense that they'd use the outlet to indirectly promote their products.  The news division of NBC was always more than happy to comply for political reasons.

That GEICO commercial  with McGruff cracks me up... especially when the lady asks him if he's "gotta go take a poo poo?"   :rofl2:
