$2.99 at several gas stations in Monroe, MI. Remember to round that off to $3 because the prices are actually $2.999. I expect those prices to remain the same through the holiday/travel season, then lower by January.

I hope you're right, but with these recent moves by the Federal Reserve (and subsequent weakening/devaluing of the Dollar), I fear that we may soon see new highs.

I doubt Obama is going to be one of them.

I think Hillary's going to knock him out in the primaries.

How strong were the winds?

30-40 sustained
gusts up to 70

We've had stronger winds than this associated with severe storms, but this lasted for over 2 days.

The past few weeks have been pretty weird weather-wise. A few weeks ago, it was cold, then it go warm, and cold again, and back to warm, and now borderline cold/warm.

And now it's back to warm.

Back to cool today…

One month later, and we're still in the same pattern.

Why does TWC need a hurricane "expert" AND a hurricane "specialist"? What is the difference between the two? Bryan was on WC tonight giving an update, but what he did was something Dr. Knabb could easily do, too.
Not a new concept for TWC.  They had John Hope and Steve Lyons.

Two is (sometimes) better than one.  From the way it sounds, this Bryan Norcross sounds great, and Dr. Knabb is also.

I forgot about Hope and Lyons.  It still seems a bit unnecessary though.

I like Dr. Knabb a lot, but he doesn't seem to have the kind of personality that would attract viewers en masse.  And like it or not, it's all about ratings.

EDIT: I guess showing something like that during a Flood Watch would be the best time to show it, it shouldn't be shown on a regular basis imo.

Agreed.  If a local river gets at or near flood stage, we already get a crawl across the bottom of the screen.

Neat idea, but most people don't care when rivers are at normal levels.  Those who do already visit this site...
