Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't do that from the get-go. TWC really doesn't have content that really benefits from HD (except long-form), so it makes sense to go with a LDA (similar to what CNBC HD, Fox News HD use).
Opens up some really neat possibilities for the STAR HD (use a left display line as opposed to a lower, and have a radar, etc).

re: Spyware Protect 2009...
Run this: C:\windows\system32\regsvr32 /u iehelper.dll
Then delete the iehelper.dll file (I believe it's in your C:\Windows).
Then run Spybot Search and Destroy to clear it out.

A drastic change in the main round (6 in 20 v 7 in 30 means solving the clues like 1.4 seconds quicker), and superbly and inconsistently strict judging (namely you had to say every word in the bonus category, nut just the key word/phrase).Who would host it? I hope it's not Donny Osmond.Don't get me wrong, but I liked Donny Osmond hosting Pyramid back in 2002-04. Maybe it was just because the Dick Clark era was before my time, though.Wait, that reminds me, they brought it back and it already failed, why bring it back again?
Oh, and really stupid Winner's Circle categories like "THINGS TOM CRUISE'S COFFEE CUP WOULD SAY".

So...CBS had deceided to cancel the longest-running program on television, Guiding Light, after 50-some years on TV, and 72 years total (radio+tv).
In it's place, apparently the current front-runner is a game show...a revival of The $25,000 Pyramid.
