Vortex2 = storm chasing with Mike Bettes!

This will definitely be one long-form show that I will watch.

I would submit my name for consideration, but life's a bit too tight right now.  I'll just stick to web design.

We have them around here. They're pretty good... unlimited fries with burgers.
Holy crap you have to be kidding me.  I was going to eat there today (they opened around here Monday) but found the prices to be excessive for a burger.  But unlimited fries?  Now it's justified.

Items that I need to know in my networking text:

 - what the Network Neighborhood icon does
 - how to operate Windows 98

Again:  rerun-abusing non-HD content when you have HD content sitting on the shelf can't be a good thing.  They could easily do:

Storm Stories @ 2
ICHT/FFN @ 2:30
WeatherVentures @ 3
Epic Conditions @ 3:30

...and everything wins.

Again:  it needs to be a darker shade of green.  Looks freakin' radioactive here.

I hope this song gets played.  I think it fits well with the primetime list.

So three pages into my Accounting work for this week (flow of cash in a company), and they've already thrown out as examples:

 - Circuit City losing cash and profit for FY 2006
 - Purchasing $10,000 in GM stock

This is interesting - I recently bought a computer on eBay, that came in the original packaging (it was used, however). To put a long story short, whenever it's turned on, the speaker emits a whistling sound, that goes away after 5 minutes of use.

It also had a lot of personal documents on the drive, including emails, and some really cool old programs.
The person you bought the computer from is a dumbass, then.

They're really taking this outbreak seriously (as they should be). They're on a Storm Alert-like schedule. They started to play ICHT at 2 PM ET, then they quickly cut away with continued coverage bringing in Dr. Forbes. After ten minutes, they went back to ICHT. Then at 2:30 PM, they went preempted ICHT again and continuing to go live. Strangely they're still using the long-form program schedule with one-minute LFs at :29 and :59, and using the L-bar for the other LFs.
That way Master doesn't have a proverbial cow and have to throw the scheduling out the window.  It just works.
