Everything is getting sent in the stream except audio, including STAR cues.

I really do like Today's gfx package, MSNBC's - not so much.

I would assume the holdup on the HD STAR is difficulty rendering 1080i graphics?

Woah.  Probably not - maybe he's a travel analyst?  I don't think TWC would have two male anchors on a regular basis.

Do a full update of your PC when you have a spare half-hour or so.  And install all updates.

ATI's suck.  End of discussion.

If WinTV is the problem, try Windows Media Center.

And the Beach Boys tune sounds like rubbish when played without vocals...and it's back.

But a very solid list overall, including Layla back in prime (where it should be).

Depends.  What is your tuner and software?

Have you tried punching in the physical number (79-6)?  Also, is this a PC tuner or one of those Comcast tuning boxes?

Someone explain this statement to me, because it makes absolutely no sense.

"There is a compatibility issue with Internet Explorer 8. We recommend that you always use Mozilla Firefox as your web browser, unless you are on a Vista, then it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer 7."

Programming and Graphics / Re: WeatherProof

It's a great show, great premise, but needs a lot of help with execution.

 - Way too freaking dramatic.  I realize this is about life and death situations, but it's just tests.  Needs a different announcer (maybe Adam Berg...if ol' Dave Schwartz was still there he'd be a tremendous fit) to lighten the mood a little.
 - Needs a second host.  Mike Bettes would be the logical choice but kinda seems like overexposure for both.  And that second host needs to cover the other topic...last night had "wind" and "water" and doing both the way they did it was kinda awkward.  Have one host do wind, one do water, and interweave them together during the show.
 - 4:3 safe, dammit.

Did like how they kinda followed the Mythbusters way...leave the biggest impact/bang for last as the OMGWOW!!!!

First TWC long-form I've watched from start to finish.  Will watch again.

It should be PM Edition.  Unless there's a change.

Sam Mohr said her show was "Weather Center" at the top of the 11:00PM hour yesterday.

General Discussion / Re: Windows 7

I use Windows 7 RC every time on my netbook (dual-boot with XP) and have noticed zero issues.  Zero.  Very stable and very easy to use.  Like I said earlier, I plan to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium with the "family pack" ($149, three licenses) and upgrade my working tower, my netbook, and eventually my DVR system that I will build soon.
