I have SimTower and Yoot Tower, a re-released "improved" version.

I prefer RollerCoaster Tycoon.

Hmm.  It's a start.  Looks like some good technology that could have some really neat uses when fully implemented:

 - Go to a more enhanced story on webpage
 - connect with the story/newscast (via @reply, Facebook, comment)
 - interactivity with games (scan to play a Wheel puzzle/Price is Right game/Family Feud survey)
 - Fantasy scores/stats
 - Directors cut of recorded program

Can't use T-Mob 3G network.

Somewhere I read the iBook store was going to be in ePub format, which could lend to purchases for other devices.  Maybe.

16:9 or even 16:10 should have been used - they stressed 16:9 HD video a ton during the event today.

Wanted more, left disappointed.  As a user with an iPhone (already have the apps) and netbook (Windows and it runs everything that I need)...why would I need this?  Looking at an ebook reader (have lots of PDF computing manuals) but I'd go with a Sony device that smaller and a lot cheaper.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: TWC gone digital

The cheapest HDTV's I have been able to find are $500... and they were at Staples for Black Friday.
You're not looking hard enough.

I'm more than happy with my HD box + uber fast Internet + Digital Starter, and full price would be around 110 (currently promotion is $69.99 + $7.99).  ~$150/mo tells me they need to slow the internet down and kill some channels.

It would not surprise me if in the near future (3-5 years), there is zero charge for HD content, and providers will only be distributing HD boxes anyway.

Love the new player itself - my HD caps now have the ability to be played in 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p instead of SD/HD.
TPIR 1-8-2010: Not Quite Safe Crackers

The layout is interesting - kind of liking it.

ALSO: for those using Chrome or Safari - there is an HTML5-compliant video version.  Strongly recommend it.
