Stations? Does that mean other networks show Storm Bories?
Yep.  It was syndicated September 2008.

It should give you signal levels without logging in. Odd.
All I get are a few addresses, a serial number, and several version numbers.  I don't see anything about signal strength.  Furthermore, whenever my internet has blinked, my laptop always says that the DNS server is down.  So, I'm not sure if it's just the modem or perhaps a pretty bad server system here.
Do you have a Motorola modem?  Hit up the address and click on "signal" on the left.

Is this a rental modem or your own?

Those of you who think "I Saw Three Ships" by David Arkenstone is not playing this year should be ready for a sigh of relief now. It was just played at 10:28 am EST during WUWA.
The world has not ended!

Good list, but it's missing a song.  And even I'll complain to TWC that it's not playing.

Pocketed a 2TB hard drive for my server for $70.  Paid $100 for a 1TB 11 months ago.

What do you all have planned for Thanksgiving this year?  Also, how many of you all have plans for Black Friday if you dare?
Tomorrow: baking Christmas cookies
Thursday: stuffing my face
Friday: maybe 12AM to Walmart, Lowes early, get the Christmas tree
Saturday: college football game
Sunday: possibly stuffing my face some more
Monday: blow any remaining cash.

Cox down here is slow about pushing new channels to cablecards.
FCC will want to know about that, since it's against their rules.

Oh okay. But would I have to get two DTAs for my room (one for my TV and for my PC)? Or would it work just using a splitter? I understand that you can only get up to two free, and I also need one for the TV in the other bedroom.
Wall outlet -> DTA In -> splitter to (a) TV and (b) PC.

DTA + PC or VCR is going to be a heck of a lot cheaper than a TiVo.  Plus you have to get a CableCard with TiVo, which could be nothing short of a nightmare to get working right.

Love Windows Home Server.  Really love that you can "hack" it to do nearly anything you want.
