SD Sat viewers...during this quazi-long form, are you seeing the SD Sat or the HD Sat?  After every Local, it keeps cuing the HD feed on the SD channel...then abruptly changes to the SD version.

Yet on a tropical storm, TWC goes:

OMG EVERYONE BOARD UP YOUR HOUSE AND EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY THIS IS GOING TO BE ONE OF THE WORST STORMS THAT WILL EVER HIT THE UNITED STATES IN TROPICAL HISTORY. WE WILL BE IN STORM ALERT AS THE WAVES RISE ANOTHER 3 INCHES AND THE WINDS INCREASE BY .25 MILES AN HOUR. THIS IS JUST AWFUL, JUST GOD AWFUL. WE WILL BE GIVING YOU SECOND BY SECOND COVERAGE.

OH MY GOD A DARKER CLOUD JUST ROLLED IN EVERYONE GET OUT IMMEDIATELY. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO GUST UP TO 40 MILES AN HOUR IN THIS TROPICAL STORM. SO BE SURE TO GET YOUR EMERGENCY KIT OUT AND COVER UP THE HOUSE COMPLETELY. ALSO, BE REMINDED SOME AREAS COULD ONLY GET A QUARTER INCH OF PRECIPITATION WHICH WILL MAKE BASEBALL FIELDS WET. NO ONE, AND I MEAN NO ONE SHOULD BE OUTSIDE.

AND WHEN THE TEMPERATURES DURING A HURRICANE RISE .5 DEGREES IT'S BECAUSE OF STUDIES OF GLOBAL WARMING. HERE'S SOME TIPS TO HELP PREVENT THAT.
OMG HERE'S JIM CANTORE LIVE FROM THE LANDFALL SITE.

(epic win.)

Oh boy...no WWCH at 9.  That's a shocker, gang.

Doubt we'll see long-form for a few days.

but we still might see the 5 PM ET hour of Forecast Earth.
I've seen commercials for Forecast OMFG GLOBAL WARMING IS GONNA KILL US ALL Earth, and it said a 5pm airing.  Makes sense, I think, since the next advisory comes at 6pm, no?

They've also ran a WWCH LF opener, leading me to believe it will air as scheduled, too.

Did anyone see the 413th airing of the Katrina FFN?  They were running the lower one-half to two-thirds Fay radar/info graphic over the show.

BTW, the opener now uses a crummy cut of the weekend morning package much like the Weekend Now opener music, but the WO version starts at a very awkward place and ends without further music playing after the signature portion of the music where the logo is revealed.
Did they fix the opener (so that it's SD friendly)?
Nosir, the show is still "Weekend Outloo" for us SD peoples.  The segment openers are SD safe, though.

Both restaurants and fast food.  Basically where you get food not at a house.

What are some of your favorite fast food/restaurants?  Mine are:

Culver's (was a regional burger chain...now sorta national)
Fazoli's (mmmm...breadsticks)
Hacienda (local mexican chain)

And yours?

You should know September 29, its premiere date.

I'm surprised they haven't put up a channel listing yet.  In syndicated game-show land, both newcomers have their listings out already, and most years they are up by the month before.

(except last year, when we scrambled to find them on grids.)

The rise is indeed temporary. By tomorrow the slide will continue. There are no other price barriers. $117 was the big one, and we've  sank well below that. I expect to see oil drop quite a bit more yet.
I gather that $117 is the technical barrier...I feel there's two more psychological barriers left, one at $110 and one at $100.  Clear those, who knows.
