Jim Cantore has made an appearance on MSNBC right now.

EDIT:  "For those who don't regularly watch The Weather Channel, when you see Jim Cantore in your town, you pack up the station wagon and run like hell."

Via NBC WeatherPlus...the NHC's track sends Gustav as a Cat 3 right into New Orleans.

Yep...another Katrina all over again.   :hmm:

The NHC is looking at Gustav to angle more due west, then head northwest into the Gulf...as a Cat 3.

Hmm.  This one looks like it could activate Storm Alert Mode for real.  If it hits the Gulf, I could definitely see a cat. 3 US landfall.

EDIT: The IS is definitely freakin' out. I popped in a VHS tape, so I'll be posting some videos.
I recorded it, but it will be a while before i transfer it to my computer. I haven't used my TV tuner in a really long time.
It's on a VHS tape, so he has to transfer it from VHS to his computer.

If a hen and a half can lay an egg and a half in a day and a half, how long would it take a monkey with a wooden leg to kick the seeds out of a pickle?
Can I use a lifeline?  I'd like the ask the audience.

Yesterday:

B:  McDonalds deluxe breakfast platter (eggs, sausage, hotcakes)
L:  Pork loin, potatoes, corn on the cob
D:  Subway $5 footlong...cold cut combo w/lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle (they overcharged me...so it was free)

Yup, they say Chicago winters are some of the worst.

No, I meant the conditions Stephen is experiencing. He said power is back on, and he's experiencing some wind. Doesn't sound bad enough (to me at least) to cancel school. I don't think it would cancel school here.
But it IS a hurricane/tropical storm/whatever. That changes things.

Its none of the above. Its nothing more than a subtropical storm. Its been over land for days. Its long lost its tropical characteristics.
But my God it's FAY!  Overhype express!  We get Fay remanats here, and they'll send reporters out to cover it.  Ridiculous.

I have another question, when did TWC first get their BMI license to air the lf music?
1843 B.C.
Shockingly, the same year Ezekiel Barker starting hosting The Price is Right.

Am I ahead of the game?

Sure I need to find my tuner though.
Wait, you're looking for your tuner? What did you use to get that image then?
Looks like his SlingBox (played through the computer, then Prnt Scr).

Given his "runner" is the same as what my "runner" was, it's when you "run" notes/papers/Detention slips to students in class, during class.
