Hey, what is today?

Japan's Earthquake and Tsunami Early Warning System

108
Probably never will ever no how many people is missing, etc.  This country needs to prepare for something like this.
What?  Japan is probably the most prepared country for earthquakes in the entire world.  They were even warned about 1 minute before it hit.

109
The Weather Channel is going commercial-free starting at 7:30 eastern for tsunami coverage.

Android phones are just amazing. Though I really miss mine right now since my phone's charger died. -_-
I still switch between the Nexus S and iPhone 4 because I love both systems so much. Too bad they cant be combined
Not selling my 3G...just won't be a phone.  So best of both worlds as well.

Let's take a deep breath here.

(A) PBS and NPR both are being threatened with complete removal of federal funds.  This will have an impact, but a lot of money comes from private donations (majority, I believe).
(B) Cut programs or raise taxes.

One of my favorite quotes came from an MSNBC host (pre-TWC purchase) that said "When Jim Cantore comes to your town, pack up the stationwagon and get the hell out!"
