Here they are.
Thanks, LL.

Now I have identified some songs that I've been looking for! Such as "Back In The Chicken Sack" by Joe Jewell Quartet; "A Nice In The City" and "Uptown" by Lao Tizer; etc.

General Discussion / Re: NBC Weather Plus Discussion

WeatherPlus is still localized here in DFW. It's just that the online streaming is no more. Same with Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and other cities that have NBC owned & operated stations.

Here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe0i6ZqeoN0

At around 1:59 you'll see the severe weather banner pop up and a beeping tone will be made. I also recorded at the end when I hit the red button and clicked the alert tab to view alert info.

I liked the XL/IS alert tone better. Though I am pleased that DirecTV's stepping up to the plate and began localizing weather on their receivers.

I did my final tweakings of the WS4000 BETA concept. The font on the "Current Conditions" slide is changed to "STAR 4 Extended" and I corrected the time/date placing error on the "Regional Conditions" map.

And just for the pure fun of it, I decided to do a recreation of the WS4000 delay start in progress on PowerPoint. As we know when the WS4000 was still active in some areas, the WS4000 is kicked in progress after 40 to 50 seconds of showing the national forecast. My version of the Satellite feed utilizes the Satellite Background template I've recently created.

General Discussion / Re: Earthquakes Jolt North Texas

That's true. Of course this event still left several residents of Irving scratching their heads.

Although a major earthquake in Downtown Dallas is highly unlikely, "It Could Happen Tomorrow".

Yes, you've read right. Two earthquakes were reported in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. One of them happens to be a 3.0 in Irving. The biggest laugh is I didn't feel it.
____________________________________________________________________________________

DALLAS, Texas (WFAA ABC 8/AP) — Two minor earthquakes shook the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but no significant damage was immediately reported Friday.

The U.S. Geological Survey says an earthquake with a 2.5 magnitude was reported at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, centered in the Grand Prairie area.

The agency says a slightly stronger quake, at 3.0 magnitude, occurred at 12:01 a.m. Friday, centered in the Irving area, about 10 miles west of Dallas.

Today, I did some tweaking on the WeatherStar 4000 BETA concept.

http://rapidshare.com/files/159227151/WeatherStar_4000_BETA.ppt.html

The only changes made are:

 - Time and Date flipped (correction)
 - Added WS4000 Radar Map (cropped to show the North Texas area)
 - The "Incomplete Data" box is lighter.

- All known material is owned by TWC
- The fonts and icons are provided by TWC Classics
- The WS4000 Radar map is provided by LFMusicFan
- The Regional Basemaps are from Google Earth

Just today, I recently created what the satellite background should've looked like after the IntelliStar was revamped on October 23, 2007.

With that being said, here's my take on the Three-Day satellite forecast.

All known material is property of TWC. Some modified icons are courtesy of Tyler Tomasino, and the back ground and templates are courtesy of Martin.

Dang, I was totally going to do that exact same thing with my satellite LFs. :faint: Now everyone will think I copied you if I decide to post it publicly. :itsok:

Well, as long as you give credit to Martin for the fonts, templates/backgrounds, and me for putting that together, you'll be OK.

BTW, thanks for the WS4000 Radar map. Makes a nice edition to my WS4000 BETA concept.
