The driver said she got hit from behind. By what? A Space shuttle? I'm surprised nothing was dented...until the big crash on the other side. I live in Irving (East and Southeast from DFW Airport) and I'm still waiting for that car to kick in its rocket boosters.

I know someone will be working their "movie magic" on that clip.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Bright House to drop TWC?

You know, this is getting very old very quickly.  Cable network A wants more money from cable company B.  Occasionally, even broadcast network C will do the same thing.  The two of them squabble and haggle, pull the plug occasionally, and more often than not the channels are eventually restored, but sometimes they're not.

Unfortunately, I think this is only the beginning of a new trend, not just another "isolated incident."  There have been too many "isolated incidents" recently.

Audience behaviors are changing, the entire mass media environment is changing, but the industry itself is finding itself either wholly unwilling or wholly unable to keep up, and this is the kind of result we should learn to expect, sadly. 

That much I do agree. Time are tough. Cable networks don't need to make them any tougher for their viewers.

I don't know if a topic like this is posted yet, but I'm gonna start it anyway.

Where else did you see your favorite LOT8s artists/groups? They can be on TV or at a live concert.

If my memory serves me correctly, I've seen:

 - David Benoit on the season 2 finale episode of Animal Planet's "Housecat Housecall".
 - Joshua Redman on a Ken Burns' Jazz Documentary.
 - Dave Brubeck on the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon.

That's pretty much it so far.
