While I'm on the topic of the modified icons, I have just realized that those new icons for the online international maps, Weather Desktop, and TWC's Weather On Your Website service is a crossover between the 1998-2006 and the current icons sets.

Those who are currently using weather.com's Weather On Your Website service, the icons have been modified.

I didn't mind the change, but I like the before set better.

My weather website currently uses this service.

TWC and your Cable Company / Time Warner to Spin Off Cable Company?

Time Warner is spinning off its cable TV business for $9 billion (according to http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/05/21/...in4114950.shtml), but Time Warner Cable may have about $23 billion in debt on its books making deals unlikely (according to http://www.investors.com/editorial/IBDArti...;issue=20080527). Because of that possible amount of debt, I'm not sure if that would cause some Time Warner Cable headends in smaller areas including mine to be sold off.

As if divesting its own Warner Music Group (info on Wikipedia) in 2004 wasn't enough...

How many here think this person is gonna survive over 4,000 years? I don't. In fact, he may not even survive the next 40.

WEATHERFORD, Texas (WFAA ABC 8/AP) — A man was sentenced to more than 4,000 years in prison today for sexually assaulting three teenage girls over two years.

A day after finding James Kevin Pope guilty, jurors sentenced him to 40 life prison terms — one for each sex assault conviction — and 20 years for each of the three sexual performance of a child convictions.

At the request of prosecutors, state District Judge Graham Quisenberry ordered Mr. Pope to serve the sentences consecutively, adding up to 4,060 years. He will be eligible for parole in the year 3209, according to the Parker County District Attorney's Office.

- That milkshake song, whoever sings it (annoying)

Kelis sings that and yeah, I agree with you on that aspect

Any  Rap and Hip hop song. Hostile music, largely responsible for the deliqunecy of America's youth. Most of it is Garbage. Would never pay for that 

That's why I'm leaning into more of old school and alternative rap stuff from Black Eyed Peas, Will Smith, etc.

General Discussion / The CW Network Slowly Fading Out?

Is it me? Is the current CW affiliate in Dallas/Fort Worth (KDAF-TV) changing networks? Or is the CW network slowly fading out after almost 2 years?

Since June 23rd, I couldn't help but noticing their latest commercials ended with the announcer saying "KDAF 33" instead of "CW33"...however, the 'CW33' branding is kept.
