Everything looks nice, but please redesign the crappy Intellistar. Please?

I hope Abramsdoesn't fall victim to pregnancy. There'd go her hotness, cramps, mood swings, and all the other stuff in between. ;)

Oh yeah. There's also plenty more on that list, but I'm too lazy to dig them out.

Again, I only studied like 2 or 3 years of TWC music (2004, 2005, 2008)

2004: Coccon, Park Place (Sammy Lincoln), String Bean (Brian Hughes), Full Sail (Ryan Farish), Blues Concerto (Love Unlimited Orchestra)
2005: Her Smile, Soon Enough (Sammy Lincoln), Winged Mammal Theme (REM), Love of Strings (Moby)
2008: Forgiven (Doug Markley), Smooth Sail (forgot artist, from January 2008 playlist)

I guess bailing out of watching TWC after their 05 relaunch and then coming back 3 years later doesn't help, Steve.

So let's enjoy the last week of Storm Watch in the spring while we're at it. Then it's all downhill this summer. :P

Even on Weather Gold, every year the Storm Watch headlines during the summer is "Storm Watch is on a hiatus this hurricane season." So apparently inactive oceans are much more important than nationwide tornado outbreaks in the summer.  <_<

82
Oh dear. Here comes another season of taking 45 minutes an hour to analyze how quiet the tropics are, notcing the SLIGHTEST wave/wind changes in the Atlantic/Pacific/Carribean, sending out 10 OCMs to cover such a dangerous tropical wave, and heading into storm alert mode over a tropical depression, ALL IN HD TOO.

*GASP*  :o

Everything Else TWC / Skytracker and Interstates
« on: May 26, 2008, 04:05:46 PM »
How come TWC has changed the way skytracker handles the display of interstates? In the old days, the highways would be displayed at a high zoom level, but now they only show up when the counties appear. It looks really awkward without them, as having cities on top of interstates (like Philly or Cleveland) looks streamlined, rather than looking like someone spit them out into the middle of nowhere. And how come some OCMs don't even display them at all? Vivian Brown falls victim to this.

Local Forecast / Re: Satellite LF Sightings
« on: May 26, 2008, 02:12:15 PM »
At 12:58 and 1:08 PM ET, the satellite LF kicked in at the beginning, before reverting back to my Intellistar. Everything was delayed after that.

At least I could see the new graphics, rather than looking at Youtube cramping them down.

Still bummed they don't have the July 04 playlist on there, which is probably the greatest playlist I've ever heard.

I'll take a gander at it when I have a chance.

I hope the jewelry won't bag down that potential baby bump.

Everything Else TWC / Re: The Weather Channel | HD Discussion

Does anyone know if TWC's website will be relaunched on their HD transition?

I'd sure love a page to adjust to any resolution out there, and maybe some neato thingies in Weather Gold.

If the SD IS is getting a graphic update (thank god, now THAT's a system in need of updating), what was the point of giving it that graphics set last year?

Well, the SD satellite once went through 3 graphics sets in less than a year, so yeah....

Wow, TWC didn't ruin my favorite part of their LF! Now Thunder can still produce quality videos with pride!

Only nitpick is that the yellow coloring in the satellite imagery is awkward.

I like what their radar looks like but please, keep two worded cities stretched, not:

Oklahoma
   City

Looks kinda awkward.
