Everything Else TWC / Re: The Blue Bar of Death Discussion
« on: June 28, 2009, 01:52:28 PM »
See? Why do we need the Blue Bar when there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOING ON IN THE TROPICS.

Seriously, no one is in danger, and they throw the Blue Bar out like a category 5 hurricane is ready to pounce on the US.

17
Jackson is born......a Hurricane came within 2305 miles of Jackson, putting his early life into extreme danger
Jackson turns 5...........Weather Channel begins hurricane coverage for the first time, which changed the lives of weather viewers forever
That would mean that TWC started hurricane coverage in 1963.

One thing did happen on Michael Jackson's birthday: The landfall of Katrina.

You know what I meant......no one's gonna like this........what is NBTWC doing anyway?

Everything Else TWC / The Blue Bar of Death Discussion

Someone had to step forward and make this topic.

What's the point of it? Taking up more space and shrinking the screen size?

Like the one I just saw.

"MIDWEST RAIN"

OH MY GOD MIDWEST RAIN

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE AND DUCK INTO A HOUSE

NOT TO MENTION HIGHS IN THE DAKOTAS MIGHT BE 60S AND 70S........SO FASCINATING

Please spare me my life when hurricanes come rolling in.

Oh, because I found this signature somewhere and it was creepy..... (I'll edit out the first names for privacy stuff)

Steele (born: 8/9/2006) & Steele (born: 10/7/2008).

Considering that's around the time she gave birth, right?

The last post of a pregnancy was made in July....and it doesn't seem like a lot of progress was made on the bump....I don't know, maybe it's just me.

So how come TWC hasn't done a "Why I love summer?" segment. I'll give you all the reasons why I "love" winter:

-Car dies out several times and needs to be jumped, but no problem
-Slipping and sliding is a very safe thing in life
-Having to dress in multiple layers makes anyone warm and fuzzy
-Able to wear pants, never need to think about busting out the shorts
-Snow is a pleasure to shovel and move around
-Cold weather! Frostbite FTW!
-Roads stay frozen over during a deep freeze, very suitable driving conditions
-Those artic blasts with brutally cold air are just lovely and refreshing
-Seeing it pitch black at 5:30 PM is just such a great time
-Waiting til 7:00 AM for the sun to come up is the cure every needs
-Keeps the umbrellas put away and tidied up
-For a serious issue, no TWC babbling about Hurricanes
