Wasn't Felipe the guy ripping everyone's videos?

There were actually two video I needed from him too. It was that LF video he had that featured Cocoon by Sammy Lincoln from April 04, which had my 2nd favorite satellite graphics package. He also had Park Place by Lincoln from July 04. I can't believe I forgot to get these with the Youtube Downloader tool.

So, this was another dry month for the playlists. However, this is a song I really like from this month:

It better not be the most popular series EVER!

Everything Else TWC / Re: TWC going dark for Earth Hour

I hope they go dark for another 5 hours like they did for the January 22 outage. No music, and then let the Trammell Starks kick in. This time, the Intellistars DON'T come back on.  ;)

I hope this doesn't mean a new map set. Whenever TWC changes something, 10:1 it's usually for the worst.

Knowing that they'll stay on air overnight for team coverage of a tropical depression nowhere in striking distance, then yeah....

Local Forecast / Re: Do you dislike the Intellistar?
« on: March 16, 2008, 12:34:44 AM »
I don't like the Intellistar. Depressing graphics, annoying narration, and still feels outdated. I wanna hear my favorite song with minimal (XL) to no (Satellite/4000/Jr) narration.

I wish there was an option to give cable customers satellite local forecasts.

Is there any satellite LF emulator in the works?

Just listen to this:

"Light rain in the morning followed by partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. High 53. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 miles per hour, increasing to 20 to 30 miles per hour. Chance of rain 30%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch."

"For tonight. Mostly clear skies followed by increasing clouds. Low 34. Winds NNW at 15 to 25 miles per hour, diminishing to 10 to 20 miles per hour."

"On Monday we'll see a chance of rain. Look for partly cloudy skies on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, expect a chance of thunderstorms."

"Traffic Congestion for our area."

Look at all that hell we need to listen to. What if the legendary Trammell Starks is playing my favorite Jamacian Jam or Good Times, and then I have to have it drowned out by that crap?

Yep. I'm waiting for "Good Times" or "Jamacian Jam" to pop up. My two favorite.

Trammell!

Great to hear Trammell, but it gets cancelled out because sometimes the INTELLISTAR VOICEOVER NEEDS TO SHUT THE HELL UP.  :)

I hope the SD satellite remains as is. I've been so accomodated to it over the years.

Whenever TWC puts in something new, expect it to be crappy.

Lucky you. I wish I could see satellite forecasts round the clock without having to switch to satellite.

Congrats TWC.

Now can you please, PLEASE, PLEASE change the lf opener and quit cramming it down our throats. I'd even take those Epic Conditions ones over this. At least they had a variety of them.

Well, when you have horrible songs like Brighter Days by Brian Hughes playing for 4 months straight, there's no need to update the playlist.
