AP exams.... now those are hard. I never worried about standardized testing. Always found them way too easy. Not looking forward to my AP Language exam in particular out of my other AP classes. Not difficult just loooong and lots of writing.
Lol, I'll never survive in an AP course :P
Haha, same here. GPA would head south if I were to take an AP course or exam. However, you don't have to be taking an AP class to take an AP exam at my school... but why would I want to pay the $120?

You know, I never realized how easy I apparently have it. The ACT is part of the MME, and that is what tomorrow will comprise of. The MME itself takes the first half of the day on Wednesday and Thursday as well.

So is the name of this song "Lighting" or "Warp Speed"?
Local Forecast- 3/04/10 5:58 PM EST

I've been told, and everyone is going by, that it's Warp Speed, but according to the playlist, it's Lighting.

I could also qualify for extra time on the ACT and Michigan Merit Exam this week, but among the many things I don't believe in (snowblowers, etc), I DO NOT believe in, or accept special help. I denied it the second I was asked if I wanted extra time on the ACT/MME.

I got 3 words... Michigan. Merit. Exam.

Not going to be fun Tuesday through Thursday this week <_<
Last week were the standardized tests for the underclassmen here and I got to sleep in three more hours since I'm a senior. Everyone in my classes were jealous at me and tell me they can't wait to be a senior. I'm gonna miss that, lol.  :hmm: :P
lol it is the complete opposite here. The MME (as we all refer to it) is only for the juniors, so life was actually better freshman and sophomore year. Freshmen and sophomores only have a half day on Wednesday and Thursday. The juniors take the ACT on Tuesday (takes the entire school day), and spend half the day Wednesday and Thursday testing (the other half is for the school day). Seniors at my school are supposed to do a job shadow all day Tuesday and for the first half of the day on Wednesday and Thursday. I hate how this test is in March- because it looms over my head all year and actually puts the movement of time on a "conveyor belt" of sorts.

By the way, I apologize to all of you if my post from earlier this morning was rather awkward for you all to read.  I just haven't had a good week lately as there are a ton of things on my mind right now. :(
Yeah, me too buddy :)

I got 3 words... Michigan. Merit. Exam.

I know how you can "hide" here, and the concept makes sense to me

The only time I use a microwave is for popcorn and warm milk
Warm milk?

I only use the microwave for those frozen dinners, which I really like since they are plenty enough for a meal and yet are portioned. However, I don't end up using the microwave either. Ever since I got braces in June 2007, I've gotten used to not having popcorn or really hard candy. I can't imagine I've had popcorn more than 4 or 5 times since then.

This time though, it's only the high that is mistaken. But if you look at the F6 report for Lansing... the high appears as normal (I have attached it here). Also Mike, the information that shows up on the almanac actually is directly from the airport itself... and is not HiRAD based.
Nobody said anything about hirad
It just sounded like he was talking about HiRAD since he mentioned weather.com's report for Dewitt for yesterday, and we all know how dependent TWC is on the NWS these daze :P

Is it safe for someone (*cough* my mom that I hate) to use the microwave 16 times a day?
16 times a day?
What on earth is she using it for that many times a day for?
Isn't it a shortcut instead of using the dryer? j/k :P

Well what's funny is that when this happened back in November

102 (coincidentally our all time record high) was reported for a high, but also a low of 4 was reported... which was a daily record low that day.

This time though, it's only the high that is mistaken. But if you look at the F6 report for Lansing... the high appears as normal (I have attached it here). Also Mike, the information that shows up on the almanac actually is directly from the airport itself... and is not HiRAD based.

Anyone have any idea how this happens? I find it interesting that this happened again, considering I caught just back in November...
