For most it will just be a hunk of metal that nobody can use. I purchased one previously from this seller.

Is there anything you CAN do with it since it doesn't have a data source?
For me it would be like going to Canada... more is here, but it's just the significance of going there.

Today was a busy day in Lansing. While I was at school, a shooter broke out shooting a person in their car on Walsh Street (a few blocks south of I-496). They then began a car chase, which ended a couple blocks from my house, at Eastern High School. The shooting victim crashed into a parked SUV next to the high school. Fortunately, while there were people in that SUV, none of them were severely injured and were taken a few feet to Sparrow Hospital. ALL of this is familiar scenery to me, especially at Eastern.

There's nothing wrong?

He means the suns placed instead of the moons.
Yeah, I figure I should have specified that in that post. Nevertheless, I doubt it's sunny here at 10 in the evening, and I would know :P

Here we go...

I remember I had a boatload of troubles upgrading to IE8 right when it came out. Not for a second considering upgrading to IE9. Google Chrome is where it's at

However, I've already taken Patrick's thoughts into mind. I'm making sure I can go into TV production for next year, and I'm planning on re-doing tennis this summer.
That's great! I hope it goes well for you. This week I've been presenting the weather to everyone for the morning announcements, and regularly take part in the TV studio every morning by helping my friend get the weather graphics ready.
Thanks, and I figured you would have fun on your end too. I've been talking to a member of the Vision staff, and my chances are pretty good. I turned in my application quite early along with 3 letters of recommendation. I've also done 2 remote shoots (as I've mentioned earlier in this thread).

I should have worn green today, but I totally forgot.
hehe, I wore a green shirt and a green sweatshirt :P
The E.L. was crazy today, with not only green, but MSU students partying like there was no tomorrow.

my clock has a small tornado week ad right above it now.. its funny b/c the fine print of the ad  is unreadable..
Yeah, funny you mention that. I can't read it either. There's plenty more room on the larger LDL for the ad to be bigger, but there is nowhere near enough room for the ad as it is now on the smaller LDL. On the positive side, I see the time rotation issue has been fixed... and it's no longer stuck on PDT.

I'm pretty sure I bought my TV early on in 2005. It's acting a lot older than it is though. The LDL was always cut off in my camera clips, and a purple/green spot of color runs up the left side of the TV when I have a fan running above it.

The new clock might actually be useful if it weren't cut off. <_< I can only see the minutes on my TV.
My point exactly. My TV cuts off the bottom half of it.

I'm wondering if you know it's spelt "days" not daze
Yes, I'm well aware. I thought everyone knew it was my style to spell days as "daze" and ight as "ite".

Yeah, I'm noticing a clock on the lower left hand corner of my LDL (bigger one at the moment). But it's so far down there that my TV cuts half of it off. I also notice it cycles through the 4 main time zones, oddly enough.
Thanks for the screenshots. The clock is on the actual national LDL feed. It's in the "window" area of the local LDL, which was originally meant for placement of the ad. Good to see that TWC is using that blank space somewhat productively.
Oh wow, I was wondering what that was for. Sure thing with the screenshots. It was brought up earlier that the clock was added on InDirecTV, so I got curious and turned TWC on for the first time in a couple daze. It's not really that great, but I suppose it is a start.

I will admit that I should give them some brownie points for the radar portion of the LDL there. I like how it looks exactly like the old radar maps that used to be on weather.com back in it's good ol' daze. I also see it has the color coding in the separate color squares instead of the gradual change you see on the code on the LF radar. I wonder if the ice/mix and snow also show up on this radar?
