Oh ok. How about August 08 overnight imp? And maybe if you can tell me if you got any september 08 songs from the 2nd of that month? I think that's when i heard that song imp
Are you sure that was not just a one time music-insert fluke? I probably have the same amount of clips from September 2008 as Mike does, and I only have one overnite clip from that month imp.

Molly, this wouldn't happen to be a Jeanne Ricks song you were thinking of, would it? I guess I do have a couple September 2008 Overnite clips.

Welcome to spring everyone! As of 1:32 PM EDT, it is now Spring. While I'm not getting it nearly to the scale Kansas and OK are, I am getting a white first day of Spring :P

General Discussion / Re: DETENTION!!!
« on: March 20, 2010, 09:33:29 AM »
Just thought I'd bump this old thread :P

I can only remember one detention in Elementary School, and I think one in Middle School. Can't remember what either one was for... but I was having some issues with a resource teacher in 8th grade. Nothing has happened since, and I too have cleaned up my act. Haslett is pretty mixed when it comes to discipline... strict in some areas yet careless in others. I think our system is fine as it is. I nearly got into a fight with a freshman, but it was really a joke and he's a lot nicer than I thought he was. Sounds like even that would have landed me (and possibly him) in trouble in Tyler's system  :fear:

General Weather Chat / Re: Winter of 2009-2010 Review
« on: March 20, 2010, 08:17:10 AM »
lol, I'm probably the only one on here who would poorly rate this winter. El Nino winters are never fun for anyone in Michigan... whether you like snow or not. This winter was much warmer than it should have been, and we never made it below 0. Usually, we see below zero temps at least once a winter. Snow was horrible this season. HiRAD didn't guess snow until December 3rd (Lansing's airport had reported it a couple times before). We got almost nothing in November, but we somehow made it within a couple inches of average when December closed. January was okay, but not too great of a month either.

February was when we finally got winter. We had two significant (pathetic to others, significant by our standards) snowfalls. While neither had been that double digit snow I have been waiting for for 5 years, they were something. We also got 4 inches of Lake Effect on 2/24... an incredible rarity here. Let's not forget the "snoicane" on 2/26, which was the most impressive looking low pressure I have ever seen outside of the hurricane season. I got about 3 inches out of that. Then, just as we had finally been seeing winter, it left us.

It was amazing how quickly the temperature of 40 went from "quite mild" to "cold" inside a couple weeks. Highs above freezing began appearing in the week ahead, and inside a week really, temps were already consistently around and above freezing. Then 60's come by. Now that 8.5" Lansing is supposed to see in the month of March once again does not appear to be likely. I don't recall seeing that much in the month since 2002. Ah well, hoping for a more active year ahead.

I was wondering what it would look like to see the new LDL on the satellite local forecast. Awkward looking, imo...

It's gonna snow here this weekend....and it's been mid/high 60s the last few days.
Not any huge deal, but yeah, we are in for a few flakes (mostly tomorrow nite here). Lansing's monthly snowfall average for March is 8.5"... and I don't believe that has been reached since 2002. Ah well, hopefully we get that last bang of the year like we always do in April.

Anyways, today, after looking it up, I discovered I have a condition called Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ). For the past couple of months, I've been noticing how occasionally when I yawn, my jaw pops right below my left ear, and it then becomes incredibly hot and inflamed below my ear for a few seconds. It's irritating, lol.

Also on the subject of today, Earth Science was a bit fun. We did a "sun poll" as a class activity. Basically our teacher allowed us all to pull out our cell phones for it. How it works is that there is a powerpoint that she downloaded, which connects to the internet. As we get to a slide, a question is asked. We text a code to the number. As the text is sent, it automatically appears live on the powerpoint. It was really fun, and imo, that is the kind of effective review I would love to see other teachers take note of.

I have a clip of that song but didn't upload it because WMG muted it imp
That's odd
I've seen at least a dozen full clips of the song, and mine hasn't been touched either, imp.
