Silent 3:29 PM EDT LF cut to a bit of Trammell during the narration of the text-based fcst and then stopped. Halfway through the "The Week Ahead" segment, a different Trammell song returned and about 20 seconds of Trammell with a satellite LF played before WWCH returned.

Today is TWC's 27th birthday.   I wonder if they'll even mention it on the air today.

I don't remember them mentioning their anniversary other than in 2002 and 2007. Although during their last SD broadcast Vivian did mention that they've been broadcasting in SD for 26 years.

Well, some OCM is bound to mention it at some point somewhere. No one mentioning TWC's 27th is like no one wishing you a Happy Birthday when it is your birthday.

Why do some of you guys have shortened hours during certain days of the week? I've never been to a school that is like that.

Well, it was that way for me at my elementary school and first middle school, and it still is. On Wednesdays, it would be a half day.

Since I'm not a local IS viewer, please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think there has ever been a capital "W" in "Local weather ID".

This morning I thought there was, but then again, I also thought a lot of the text on the IS was also enlarged, so false alarm

Not necessarily. You can foresee winter or other inclement weather. You can't foresee a breakout of disease.

True. Where I go in Haslett, they extended each hour of the day, adding 6 minutes on to each school day. Last year, the middle school got 3 days off of school due to vandalism (yes, the 17 and 18 year old high school dropouts were caught), and they didn't have to make any time up. Not fair to those of us 945 students in the High School

Kyle, you pretty much took the words out of my mouth...

I don't mind Al Roker, I kinda like him.... and with Stephanie it's even better. The thing is that everyone is going crazy when no one has any idea what is happening other than a new show. There is no confirmation that A&B are going to be broken up. Just take a chill pill and wait to see what happens...

I agree. It is clear, however, at this point that A&B as we knew it in 2006-2008 is long gone, along with the sunny Intellistar background.
