Man, CSS is incredibly annoying. <_<

I'd do everything in HTML if CSS didn't have its perks...
Yeah, tell me about it. Digital Design in 1st Hr talks about that, and I hate them!

General Weather Chat / Re: Earliest weather event you remember
« on: May 06, 2009, 10:54:22 PM »
I would have to say that the earliest weather event that I remember would have to be the December 2000 Midwest Blizzard. This was obviously not like the blizzards that periodically strike the northeast (because it was a Midwest blizzard :bleh: )
Anyway, it really sticks out in my mind. I was only 7. The forecast was for heavy snow, something I was not (and still am not) used to. I don't remember exact amounts forecasted, but when it was all said and done, there was just a touch less than a foot and a half of snow. This remains the most significant snowfall of my life
My dad was stuck in Grand Rapids that night. I came home from school, and at least 4 or so inches was already on the ground, with snow coming down incredibly hard.

As you can see in the videos below (courtesy of youtube user TWCRoadFan), this system was extremely potent, like nothing I have ever seen happen since. Cold air was being pulled down into the system, and warm, spring-like air was being drawn up ahead of it. Temperatures along the cold front extending down from the low contrasted sharply, with 40 degree distances over 50 or so miles! It was also a MASSIVE system. Snow was streaming north, and from the west as well. I really wish I was a lot older at the time!

Wow, I just saw Sam Mohr and Paul on either side of the camera shot on WC. I can't believe how much Paul towers over Sam. I never realized that!  :o  :rofl2:

9 7 lines max for signatures. Forum updated everyones signatures so if yours was too long it was shortened. You may need to fix it

Images are not affected... yet. Im looking into those
Why does it matter? I don't see the big deal with signatures of any length (within reason). I fail to see why mine had to be shortened. :dunno:

Not to be rude, but yours doesn't look shortened at all. Martin, what do you mean by "lines"?
Uh, okay...
The bottom line was supposed to be three lines, and I know I did not shorten that.

I don't get what the big deal is with the sigs. Just change to "Do not show users signatures" in your account.
Yeah, that's what I am saying. I don't see why it matters, so long as the signature length is within reason.

Is the website still being fixed?
If you're talking about missing pages, then yes. If you're talking about the design, this version has been finalized.
I notice a lot of the pages on the TWCT site are not working properly. A lot of old videos I want to view, anything that has to do with Intellistar (videos of the Intellistar LF, Intellistar Star Flavor Guide) and a few other pages will not work. These have been problematc for weeks and even months, and nothing seems to have been done about them.

You need the DIVX codec to view the video. You can get it at:

Okay, thanks. That problem was only at school, everything checks out here on my computer at home :)

Yeah, I really liked it from 2000-2005, but my  favorite year was 2007, without a doubt.

Rico is no longer a member here. I have banned him.

Martin, I'm sorry for doing this without your permission, but I thought you'd be OK with it.  B)
You beat me to it Gary  No need to ever ask permission for something like that Gary
I am so glad he is gone!   :D

Well, the amount of confirmed cases in Michigan seems to be calming down. There are supposedly 48 possible cases in the state (I think that is what I saw last nite), but so far, nothing has been confirmed in well over a week. However, that could change, and schools in the Lansing area may begin to close. There has been speculation of that.   :fear:

Well, some schools around Detroit have been closed, and Fowlerville, just about 15-20 miles to my SE is closed for the week.

I never realized how tall Paul is before it was mentioned. He is okay, but he has much too quiet and calm of a voice, IMO.

Feliz Cinco De Mayo a mis amigos en TWC Hoy! Espero que tengan un dia asombroso!!!

TRANSLATION: Happy Fifth Of May to all my friends at TWC Today! I hope you all have an awesome day!!!
:P
I got the first part, the second part, not so much..:P

I struggle in Spanish big time.  I hate it..  We watch this soap opera called Destinos.  We are on the 39th episode of 52, and I have NO IDEA what is going on. I HATE SPANISH (class)
Yeah, I am not good in Spanish either. I took Spanish last year, and DID NOT do well.  <_<
I do remember the Destinos, but we only watched it in my first Spanish class. I transferred to another teacher come second semester in January (2008) and we never watched the Destinos in that class.
