I don't think I'd ever live in New Jersey. Or any northeast state, for that manner.
I would strongly consider it if given the option, simply because of the extreme weather that often happens each year in the northeast. But yes, lit sounds too complicated to live on the Eastern Seaboard, especially in NJ from what I hear.

I got a tv tuner today. For some reason when I try to record, it gives me a mesage saying something about the codec and then "Class not registered"
Yeah, I think that happened to me back in 2007 when I finally got my first tuner to work after 4 months of having it (it only worked for 3 months before I had my PC reformatted in Feb 2008). My advice: Do what I did not do. Take it in to a place with a tech staff (I take my computer to Staples, if that helps). That should do the trick.

I haven't been to a mall in years.
Neither have I. There are four malls/shopping centers in the Lansing area- Meridian Mall just about a mile and a half down Marsh Road from my school, Eastwood Towne Center (traffic on Lake Lansing Road, the road that runs along the southside of the mall, is ALWAYS a zoo), Frandor along US-127 (which divides Lansing/E. Lansing), and Lansing Mall out on the west side. I go by the Meridian Mall and Frandor every day, and I have been to the Lansing Mall a couple months ago, but I never went in. I go to Frandor several times a year though. There is TONS of retail around the Lansing area, WAY too much, IMO. It didn't used to be like that though.

As to the malls closing early, I haven't noticed since I hardly go to any.

Everything Else TWC / Re: New slogan for The Weather Channel?

No one owns the weather, and it can easily make the best of us look like idiots.  In reality, the weather owns us! :bleh:
Which is why I loved Live By It so much. Fit the weather and TWC perfectly.
Agreed. I miss the Live By It era so much! :cry3:

There's normally not much action to do a live stream about from 12-2 PM anyway.  Most of the severe weather occurs in the late afternoon to evening as been proven over and over by scientific studies.  Fortunately, today is going differently from the norm as a line of severe storms is ripping through southern Missouri right now, and there have been numerous severe weather reports pouring into SPC over the past few hours.  I hope Mike is giving his live stream report there to kick off Vortex 2 in style.
That area of severe weather does not appear tornadic to me. It just looks like damaging winds, possibly hail, and copious amounts of rain due to the size of the complex. If only that could all come through Lansing!   :bleh:

Especially Storm Stories. I've seen that intro before every local forecast I've watched since February.  <_<
Its like with WWCH

Agreed. I am getting very annoyed with te Storm Stories Intros. There are three of them, but they often play only one, and can for several hours straight, as is the case with my Houghton Lake XL videos. The night that I was up there (4/5-6 Overnight), I don't recall seeing any intros (except two or three including the storm LOT8's opener) other than the same Storm Stories one until the mid-morning on 4/6.

I actually liked the vocal music on the LF. It was only during the evening playlist, which I didn't mind. I wouldn't want to hear it all day, though.
Yeah, I really liked it too. I thought it was a refreshing change of pace, and it was an awesome surprise!  :thrilled:

Well, I believe now is the time to apologize for this whole mess I have caused with the signatures. I am sincerely sorry for all of this. I got very hot-headed, as many things have been adding up as of late, especially with school. I felt my signature stated my opinions well, and communicated my views of the Intellistar. I thought I had already edited it enough, but apparently not. I began an argument I should not have, and I became a target with the situation. This is NOT how I wanted everyone on the forums here to get to know me. I appeared selfish and stubborn, and again, that is not how I wanted to come off.

All I want is to be able to get to know people here on the forums (and on youtube), and that has not been going well. I feel that I can't interact with anyone, and anything I say on these forums gets disagreed with or mocked. I just want to be able to get to know users here. I acted like an immature child, pushing myself further away from this. Please consider my apology and I am willing to meet anyone halfway with all of this. I am working on a new signature with some help that fits guidelines.

I think 700 is way more than enough.
Well look at your signature. Is there even so much as 50 characters on it? Mine was fine as it was.
