It's not a nationwide test yet as I see Albany's LF starting with the CC screen at all times this morning.
Yeah, still normal with the E.L. Intellistar as well.......

Is anyone's IntelliStar/Weatherscan not reporting airport delays right now?
My IntelliStar is reporting airport delays properly by saying Philadelphia Int'l is reporting no delays.
Yeah, mine is working the same way as well, Jesse. I wonder why though, that it never does report delays, as I have seen delays according to Lansing's Capital City Arpt website before.

Based off their past patterns, a design change to the STAR is imminent sometime this year. Don't hold me to that though. I follow patterns, lol.
Don't count on it. All focus is on the HD STAR.
I'm willing to put money on the table that says that some sort of design change will happen between now and March of 2010.
Yeah, I would too. It has been a while since a major update has taken place, which is highly unusual to me  :o

I have that problem too. Yeah, what is the trick to doing that?
Did you not read the post above what you just said?
Did you notice how I said that just seconds after you posted? I can publish a video in Widescreen in WMM, but it stll comes out in 4:3 on youtube.

TWC might soon make a standard version of the HD Star. After all, another STAR may be due soon, since the XL was the newest STAR for only 5-6 years, and how technology had changed fast since work on the IntelliStar began in 2003.
...or since the blue LDL replaced the black one in 2008....
You mean 2008, right? ;)
Yes, that was an error on my part. I guess I said 2003 since I had just read that wikipedia article on Weatherstar XL and had the idea of 2003 implanted in my head. That was when the black bar originally came about.

Dude, they still haven't fixed the guide error on Carl Palmer--ahem, I mean, Carl Parker.  :bleh:
They're most likely not going to, even if it is pointed out to them.  <_<

How do you guys record videos in 16:9? I've been trying to do this with my tuner by setting the screen's resolution to 16:9, but the videos on YouTube still come out as 4:3.
I have that problem too. Yeah, what is the trick to doing that?

Atlanta IntelliStar Unit: 22204

Regional Map and Metro Maps

That metro map to me is ridiculously zoomed in. I never realized the ATL (I only call it that, instead of Atlanta) had so many suburbs. Since when is there a place called mid-town in Atlanta?

Midtown is in the central part (heart) of Downtown, it's where most businesses and housing is. It would have made more sense to just say "Atlanta" instead of "Midtown" and the map being zoomed in like that I'm not sure why they did that since all of those cities are in or around the perimeter of Atlanta, that configuration hasn't changed much since the early IS days.

Yeah, that was my guess as to midtown. I believe all the metro maps of any Intellistars around the country were zoomed in with the advent of HiRAD back in 2006. I specifically remember my metro map having Lansing, Battle Creek, South Haven, Grand Rapids, and Muskegon on my metro map back in April 2005.

Nope no big changes are going to happen to the IS. Straight from the horses mouth too...
Based off their past patterns, a design change to the STAR is imminent sometime this year. Don't hold me to that though. I follow patterns, lol.
Outside of the sound effects being disabled back in March, no major modifications have been made since the LDL was modified on September 3rd last year, or since the blue LDL replaced the black one in 2008 (depends on what your opinion of "major" is). To me, it is unusual to have this long of a period when nothing is modified on the Intellistar.......

We have finals on the last three days of school  <_< (there goes the fun about the last day of school)

I have finals on the very last day of school, this is their way to make sure everyone comes to school on the last day. <_<
Yeah, I have the exact same problem. I was told, however, that it was because the state of Michigan does not allow students to have a day to do nothing. They don't allow us to have an hou during each school day where there is nothing scheduled. I have a gosh darn book report for econ due (that I am putting off  ) on June 2nd. I have exams (over material learned since 2nd semester began in late January) in Chemistry and English 10 on June 3rd. I then have exams over Algebra and then 6th Hour (Academic Lab- A break from the exams  :thrilled: ). On the final day, Friday June 5th, I have a half day. There is a major problem there, since the school crams in two exams in 3.5 hours. For me, it is Digital Design (I hate that class  <_< ) and Econ. Believe it or not, TWC's graphics and the old, much better look of Intellistar are not the only reason I want to go back to the 'olden daze'!  :bleh:
