Well, we are beginning the first weekend after the flavor changes began.......
Is there a set of flavors for the weekend? I notice that every :08 and :38 LF opens directly to the 8 city 'guesses' segment.

Anyone have plans for Memorial Day weekend?

I plan to do either two things:
1. Study for upcoming exams in June
OR
2. Sleep.
Wow, sounds exciting! :P
I plan to get caught up on schoolwork starting later this morning. Late tomorrow morning, I am going up to my aunt and uncle's cottage (they normally live in the L.A. area) in Caseville on the shore up in the NW thumb. Then, I am going over to Mt Pleasant, MI to see if there is an XL up there. Wish me luck!

Following the 2:18 AM EDT LF, WC did not come back on, and there was 15 seconds of black/silence. Then, a Satellite Feed with Trammell came on, for about a minute. For a split second, an image for a Gold Bond commercial showed, before WC came back on.

So, does HiRAD work for sites in other countries? Ever since Hamilton, Ontario was put on my metro map and now E.L.'s, there never has been a sky CC, but simply a temperature. Sometimes, there is no observation at all. This still happens, even during the HiRAD days.

Something weird...the 8:08PM local started out with the Now/4city/4city start without narration.  Narration was on...the Radar segment and all following were narrated.
Hmm, it started with the Front Page CC with the E.L. headend, but I too noticed no narration at the beginning.

Not bad. I'm at all A's right now except for an 85% in English. That should change soon because there's still more grades to be put in to the system.
Same here, but I have an A in English, a B- in Algebra (which was previously down to a C+ because of a couple bad quiz grades), which is not my strongest subject.

Well, I have had my first Satellite LF sighting at school, with the E.L. headend, at 5:58 PM EDT
You're still at school?
Yeah, it is not all that unusual that I stay a few hours after school. I am staying at my dad's through Sunday morning. Since I have a lot of homework to do tomorrow, I had to bring a lot of things home, and I did not feel like making the 20 minute walk over to my dad's so I waited until he could drive over from the Detroit area (Brighton, I think) to come and get me.

At that time, was Comcast a relatively small company? I guess it covered only some of the Northeast, such as Philadelphia, Boston, DC, and Baltimore.
I apologize for the bumping of this topic  , but I wanted to reply to this previous posting  ;)

Anyway, I would imagine Comcast was smaller back then, but Comcast was founded in 1963, so it has been around for a while.

Back in the 4000 days, we had at least two cable providers. I know one was AT&T (whose headends were bought out by Comcast in 2001), and I think the other was a company called MediaOne.

That song is OK. It's annoying.
Agreed. It is okay, but played too much last playlist, imo.

Beware of the user wolf327. This is a freshman from my school, who figured out I use this site.
Are you friends or not with this person?
Yes, sort of. He just saw me using the site while I was in 1st hour everyday. He was just joking, so I just asked people to ignore anything he says about me or anything of that nature. It is not serious.

Like I said in that video, it's probably just how the headends rely on the signal. Do you have digital or analog cable in both your houses?
Oh okay, I am at school so I don't have any way of knowing you commented. Anyway, the set-up is the same for both my mom's house and my dad's:
Downstairs, in the living room, the cable is originally connected to the cable box, which is also connected to the TV in that room. My TV tuner and any TV upstairs is connected to the closest cable jack in the room.

So, you must be right, in that it is probably the headend. I still don't understand how that would cause the music to sound different. Do you ever notice any differences in how the music sounds between your Mt Holly and Lower Bucks headends?

I seem to be noticing that there are some discrepancies between the Lansing and E.L. Intellistar units. Namely, the music sounds remixed and different as compared to the Lansing headend.

Here is a video to exemplify this:

I honestly don't understand this, as to why the music sound different on the E.L. headend as opposed to the Lansing headend. I have no idea why, but this is driving me crazy.

So? Is he planning an attack or something?

No, I was just asking everyone to ignore him.
