Allow me to clarify. ALL Comcast headend appear to have the issue of lasting 2-5 seconds outside of the local ad slot. However mine seems to be having the issue to this level (actually haven't noticed it in a couple daze). I have seen it on 22842 too, so it must be something of this area.

What the TWC? You'll air pics of cars for iWitness, but not a video of lightning I sent in? I worked hard on capturing it.

I'm not surprised Zach, unfortunately. They only seem to care about what is relevant to the current programming of the time. It's nearly impossible to get anything of yours featured on-air. I have no idea how two twitter comments (one of which Nicole Mitchell based a segment on) and a Facebook comment of mine made it on-air.

I may actually have to get to it this weekend. I have a lot of sound files to isolate and publish. Coincidentally, I just found a silent local forecast from earlier this month, when looking through my clips. I should probably send the files through individual PMs to users, since Martin is pointing out legal issues.

wait, none of the shows are using their original sound tracks anymore?? the hell? that's stupid, if they were smart...they'd have to new tracks set and ready to go before discontinuing the original.

It's been like that on all the shows except for PM Edition and Weather Center since January of last year. As for the former 25th anniversary music, that's generally only used on weekends I believe.

No, I notice it every day. Moreso at the top of the hour, though this week I've also been noticing it at the bottom of the hour too.
