We;re having a BIG thunderstorm right now! The last time we've had one this scale was last June 2nd (odd) and the clouds are totally black to pea soup green. I'm in total darkness.
Too bad you don't have Intellistar, lol  :bleh:

Is it just me, or are there two different cuts of "Smiles" by Present Tense on the daytime playlist?
There are, and I haven't the slightest clue why.......

Has anyone noticed how "Allure" by Ryan Farish sounds a hell of a lot like "One Step at a Time" by Jordin Sparks?
It certianly is possible. I know I feel as though "Still Life" by Ryan Farish also sounds like "No Air" by Jordan Sparks, so there is an interesting similarity there. What parts of each song sound like each other?

Well, checking over my clip from today, I see that there was a satellite LF marathon from when my Intellistar froze at 6:59 AM EDT up through 8:48 AM EDT. Until TWC came back on after the final sighting, there was no audio either

Whoever's video that is has the date wrong.... that can't possibly be January 2, 2003.
It's from the user weatherfanaticHD2008. It seems to me like he has the correct date, since the XL v2 did exist in most locations that now hav Intellistar at that time. Why don't you think the date is correct?  :dunno:
That four note chime did not exist in January 2003.
It was Friday, January 2, 2004.
I need to know the song then, because this is the song I have been looking for, evidently not "Guyute".......

Guyute aired at 8:18. I remember it well.

Oh wow, so I have been looking for the wrong song all this time. And yes, that did play last night. Can anyone ID the song in this video then?

That doesn't sound like Guyute. If it is, it isn't the same cut they used in August 2004.
Well, someone please post here if Guyute does in fact play. I may have been looking for the wrong song all this time.

Wow, I didn't realize those pictures were such massive files. No wonder they took so long to upload!

Wow, they're playing Guyute? I remember hearing that back in 2004. I was watching TWC with my grandparents all day when Hurricane Charley made landfall and that song was the one I heard the most that day.

I remember that as well!

We're talking about the song in this video right? Because I have not heard it.......

Here are some pics from the Lansing area:
Picture 1: This kind of stoplight is becoming more and more common about the area, mainly at intersections that are barely busy enough to have a stoplight.

Picture 2: This is what the one-way intersections look like (at right). These are mainly on US-127 or downtown.

Pictures 3 & 4: This is how the majority of stoplights that are placed at two way/one way intersections.

Pictures 5-7: This is a new stoplight that was put up downtown some time over the winter (believe it or not, this was the first time I have been downtown near the capital since December, lol)

Picture 8: The silver-arm stoplight like the one featured here has been put up at busy intersections, and has become commonplace at them around the Lansing area.

Picture 9: Featured here is a stoplight that is at several intersections around the area, but is a little less common.

Well, did Guyute play last night? I am not sure if it is a remixed version or not that is playing this month, and I can't tell if it played last night.
Yup, I heard it.
That means it must be a remixed version or different cut. When did it play?
Nope, it's the same version they've always played. I'm pretty sure its the same cut, too.
Well, I must have missed it. I looked over my recording from last night and I could not find it. It doesn't matter too much, I have a much better chance of hearing it tonight, as there is no long-form programming.
