Who exactly is in charge of programming decisions like this?I've seen the name of the VP of longform programming on the credits from time to time, but I can't place the name at the moment.
They are using the dual feed but it seems like a LOT of people are pissed about this. Good reason to be!You said it! You'd think TWC would learn by now that all this excessive longform and the movie nights are not doing them any favors. With the activity likely to be stepping up in the coming months, they'll have to have all kinds of issues preempting longform and the movies (including Trammell, which we saw earlier), and end up calling back the OCM's anyways.
You mean... The Weather Channel is actually going to be providing weather reports throughout the evening? I am shocked! Whoever heard of such a thing?!It was only until 10
As Does Buffalo NY (IIRC from a YT video)That's actually Toronto. Many upstate NY Intellistars have Toronto on their regional maps.
They must not like putting Canadian cities on there.I doubt it's intentional... judging from how quickly Intellistars were configured years ago.
On a positive note, if I catch the overnight songs I wanted, I might be able to get some sleep tonightAlso, any particular reason they are airing overnight music on the local forecasts?Probably a glitch in the system since it's usually not configured to air regular playlist music on Friday evenings.
w00t! I second both thoughtsTWC just announced that they will be pre-empting "Flick & A Forecast" due to the severe weather. They will be continuing their coverage.
woo! no dual feeds, no stupid movie whatsoever! This satisfies me for some reason.
Your not the only one
